Really looking forward to the things people in the future say about whatever generation you are part of.

actually, you should. Petchesky’s being a massive douche.

ya but everything I’ve seen and read in the last few years is saying that demographically, Republicans are pretty much hosed in presidential elections at this point. Trump was/is doing well because he’s not a traditional Republican and appeals to populists who might otherwise support the Democrats. Throw a traditional

Unless you count winning a shitload of games every year as being successful

Giants fans continue to be the worst people in baseball.

Also - will be voting for Trump

I’m not going to ask you to read anything, but I am going to ask you to explain how it makes sense that the owner of the team - who possesses more than $5 billion in the bank - did not pay for the stadium with his own money.

you guys forget the Dodgers won the NL West?

Huh. Thought it was an ‘89. Doesn’t matter — same exact platform and body.

NO. The 80s Broncos aren’t nearly as truck-looking. Smaller motor too.

Baseball. A pitcher throwing gas is terrifying to a kid. Fucking up in front of people by dropping a ball, watching it go through your legs, and whiffing at heaters is all character-building.

no, because they’re using the term wrong, because the people who write for Deadspin are culture dorks first, and sports fans second.

I take solace in the fact that Kershaw is better more often over longer periods than Bumgarner. The postseason in baseball is dumb. The Cubs are obviously a much better team than the Giants, and no matter what happens in the NLDS, the Cubs had a far better season. It’s way harder to win 104 games than it is to win 12

See: Ishikawa, Travis and Ross, Cody.

I’m always mindblown how poorly other drives anticipate shit, and how clearly bad their hand/eye coordination is.

But which Bronco? The early 70s, late 60s Bronco? My ‘89 was two-door SUV on a truck frame. The Everest would almost certainly destroy my old Bronco offroad.

Hmm, I had an ‘89 Bronco, and it had 4wd, but no locking diff. This Everest would almost certainly smoke my old Bronco in the dirt. The old early 70s Broncos were the absolute shit, but the newer ones were the 80s equivalent of the Ford Everest anyway, at least that’s how it seemed to me.

I agree and my only hope is that the players themselves aren’t freaked out by the Giants, just us fans.

Seriously, what is that about? Why are Giants fans such insufferable pricks to Dodgers fans? Rabid, lifelong Dodgers fan living in SF here. I never thought much about the Giants at all until I moved to SF. Which is normal for Dodgers fans. I even thought, “huh, maybe I’ll support them” in the 2010 WS. But Jesus

Disagree. As a Dodgers fan living in SF I can tell you that holy shit are Giants fans insufferable. I’ve lived in Southern California, and when you mention the Giants to Dodgers fans down there, they say “oh, right, San Francisco exists. Kinda forgot.” Where in SF I can’t even wear a non-Dodgers related blue hat
