The reviewers of this show often talk about how Kate is just a cipher, and I couldn’t agree more. I mean, they do some stuff to try and round her out, but nothing that really sticks.

It was more like, “I didn’t know it at the time, but it ended up being the real reason,” or at least that’s how I took it. Not like he literally planned it.

So much. I’m watching late so I was trying to watch the whole thing before I commented, once, in a whooshing release of all of it, but this episode broke it. Me? I mean, I knew he was going to die. I knew it’d be heart wrenching.

This show gets better and better.
