I’m only surprised that there’s something in those pills that qualifies as performance enhancing.

Agreed. The tackler there goes horizontal to ensure that he hits helmet to helmet instead of hitting shoulder to body. There are people who will watch that and say “the game’s too fast, no one can adjust,” as if the tackler didn’t adjust to ensure it was helmet to helmet.

It’s actually significantly less vague now because any touch from the attacking team counts and we don’t have to try to determine whether the player intentionally passed the ball.

It’s a good rule. The reality is that two-legged ties need a tie breaker, and encouraging the away team to play rather than parking the bus is good.

Yes, kids are assholes and snowflakes, not the grown man storming around, screaming himself red, and needing 19 year olds to keep him under control.

If a coach can’t teach or motivate his players without screaming at them, he has failed as a coach. Izzo’s a fine coach. His player would want to win the game without being screamed at. They would hear whatever he was trying to inform them about in terms of boxing out or rotating on defense. The screaming is just

You do you, but The Wire is vastly better than the shows you’ve listed. You’re not better off for being contrarian about it.

“We’ve seen, time and again, how so-called wine experts get fooled into picking $10 rotgut over the $200 Jordan Belfort Special.”

How could you forget A.J. Hawk?

Too soon.

A 7th title? It would cute if the got within 5 of the Packers.

That’s fair. I didn’t realize they offer the entry level models with AWD, which I suppose is another part of their problem.

Not surprising. What’s the reason to buy a Lancer over a Corolla (reliable), 3 (fun), or Impreza (AWD)?

It’s in the general area where a penis would be.

I don’t trust a car from someone too stupid to take his Gatorade out of the cup holder before taking the interior pic.

But you did lose to Wolves. Liverpool is 6 points ahead of you and City is the best team in the competition.  Spurs’ odds are pretty long at this point.

It’s not clear how much additional American fandom actually benefits Chelsea as a club. Increasing NBC ratings isn’t going to help Chelsea directly. They’ll sell more jerseys, but the US isn’t going to move the needle much for a global club and most of the additional revenue goes to Nike. I’m sure they’ll get some

Counterpoint: everybody is complaining about everything all the time, it’s just that a certain type of “do gooder” complaining tends to get more traction in the media (both pro and con) than the more traditional “get off my lawn” complaining.

“Wait, we have to learn to drive instead of letting the car drive itself? Why would we want to do that?” -future kids

For legal purposes, that’s a meaningless distinction.
