More recently (not sure when it started, but I remember it as far back as the more recent Iraq invasion) it’s been used to disparage people who dodge the draft, or refuse to enlist, but are banging the hell out of the drums of war. Political hawks and personal chickens.

I’ve had pretty good results with Beer and Duct tape.

I was also there, and it was pretty tame. I didn’t even know there was anyone left from the initial group. Had some people playing intsruments, some leading chants, and there were some church groups singing hymns and such.

A while back, I was at a community college that had an artificial pond, and a bunch of coots, ducks, and geese hung out around there. There were the standard Canada geese, and also a few bigger, domestic-looking all-white geese.

A year or two back, I witnessed a turkey holding up traffic because it was wandering around the middle of an intersection on San Pablo. I think it was October, not a good time of year for turkeys to be doing stupid shit in public...

I’ve been seriously unimpressed by turkeys since I accidentally cornered one whilst jogging along a fence in the Berkeley hills. I came up upon it, slowed down, and walked towards it. When it finally noticed me, it looked alarmed, and tried to run through the fence to escape. It could only fit it’s head/neck…

I think I’ve heard somewhere that 16:00 to 20:00 is the busiest time at the gym - right after most people get off work, I guess
