Oh no it won’t - this time there’s nukes.

The fact that they have to add folders every new generation is infuriating. Why do they keep going back to zero with each new OS instead of just freaking iterating on what they already have. I can’t stand it.

Came here to say the same thing. I hate that it only shows your most recent games, and if you want to find anything else, you have to go to look at all your games, and then tab over to installed games. WTF?

The game also appeared in the Sept. 1999 issue of the US Official Dreamcast Magazine, too. Here’s a photo of the 1-page article, from my own copy...

If this was just about normalizing women’s bodies, that’d be one thing.

The difference is that people at the beach or swimming pool are not there to take donation and begging you for money.

those poll and hot tub stream are specially made for showing cleavage to generate donation and sub...

Yeah, source code is a huge part of it. I remember reading what the developers who ported Shenmue I and II to modern consoles had to go through. The libraries for the Xbox version of Shenmue II were still kicking around but for Shenmue I, they had to go through the assembly code and run comments through Google

“I was at a Gran Turismo event recently where they had PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 games, and the PS1 and the PS2 games, they looked ancient, like why would anybody play this?” - Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment

Nintendo sucks when it comes to this, we all saw mockups before the Switch came out of all the different classic controller joy cons they could’ve released to play the older games on. They obviously didn’t do that, and there’s no sign of anything like the Virtual Console we had on the Wii, it’s disappointing.

This is a philosophical difference between the Gaming companies— Microsoft is doing away with “generations” in an attempt to make a single cohesive ecosystem for games. This starts at the foundation in order to make a scalable service like this. It’s not exactly about being able to play Xbox gen 1 games on Xbox gen 3

The problem Nintendo faces is they’re not married to any particular physical medium. You can’t stick a GameCube disc into a Switch any more than you can a 3DS cartridge.

Is there a commission or official organization that collects and preserves old games? If not, there absolutely should be. At the very least, the Library of Congress should be working on this.

They have plenty of things to play on their consoles and PC platforms. Indie titles, classic titles, and modern games. Like, is their “exclusive” collection as robust as Sony’s? No, granted, but saying there’s nothing to play is silly.

lol, there’s always one fanboy embarrassing themselves

Now if they could just finally get certain OG Xbox games on backwards compatibility (MechAssault, Otogi, etc.).
