well if you just own sony or nintendo console you are excluded so that's pretty exclusive on the console side of things. shockingly the console and PC market are seperate.

for me charmander always seemed like the best choice. you don't get a lot of chances to catch a good fire pokemon until lavendar town, but you can catch good grass and water types almost immediately.
