My last job gave me a base model Nissan Rogue. It was a terrible car and I gave it back and just drove my own car.

This right here.

Somewhere in Australia there is a Holden dealer. Who had this customer named Bruce, that bought a new Commodore every 3 years for the past 30 years. They haven’t seen Bruce this cycle, they wonder if something happened to him. So they call up Bruce only to have his wife answer and she tells them the devastating news.

I have a 13 Durango that I bought from Hertz Rent 2 Buy in January of 2015. It had 40K miles on it, and is now at 140K miles.  I’ve not had any major problems with it. I just made my last payment on it and plan to keep it for a while. Figure I’d like to get to 200K or 250K miles on it.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve been thinking about buying a new daily, and I forgot about the Continental.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind if it was Unibody. It would work well for people like me. Most days it just needs to haul my fat ass to work and occasionally I need to haul a few bags of mulch from the Home Depot.

I like, but I holding final judgement until I see it in person.

Don’t do what I do.

I had one as a rental last month. I put about 1200 miles on it in a week. It was an excellent road trip car. Comfortable on the highway and surprising good on the twisties in the mountains.

I too had an XTS as a rental about a month ago. I was pleasantly. Especially with the power. With the 3.6 V6 I figured it’d be slow. The first time I floored it, I was very surprised. It is no Hellcat, but it was pretty quick for a car its size.

I wouldn’t be friends with someone that I didn’t trust enough to let them drive my car. I know they are not going to be irresponsible with it and if something does happen, I have insurance.

I got a letter from the dealer I bought my Durango from. It said that I’ve only got 5 payments left and now is a great time to start looking for my next car. Of course they could help with it.

I’m in Austin too, and find the used car market here lacking. San Antonio is not bad, and that is where I bought my Miata. It is close enough that you can make an evening trip.

About 10 years ago I bought a truck private party and financed through my credit union. What they did was a bridge loan for the purchase amount. The bridge loan had like 2 months to pay it off. I used that money to buy the truck.

If it didn’t have to meet emissions, they could have built a 360 that would have gotten it there.

Maybe not. If you geared it right, it would have the power to cruise on a highway at like 11RPM.

If I won the lottery I’d buy one just for the hell of it. Also can you fit a jake brake to the ISB?

So me let get this right.

I have a friend who is 6'7", he drives an Altima. Though he has the seat all the way back, so no one can sit behind him.

To be fair, it is very difficult for a casino to make a profit. /s
