5th gear. It makes me sad to see what has become of Chrysler. I really hope FCA doesn’t sell just Jeep. I’m sure Ram will survive, but the rest of Chrysler won’t. My hope is that someone will buy the whole thing and put some money into rebuilding Dodge and Chrysler. FCA has new cars coming in about 3 to 4 years, but

I’m not quite young enough to be a Millenial, and not quite old enough to be Gen X, so I fall in the middle. I’m not going to have kids, but I did my part by buying a house and a 7 passenger SUV.

Actually the name is a computer science joke that goes back to the 60s. The joke was there is a processor instruction HCF, halt and catch fire. You would call the HCF instruction when an error occurred.

I had a Z3 with the 4 cyl engine for 8 years. It was a great car and I enjoyed every minute of it. I sold it a few years ago and bought a Miata. I like the Miata, but nowhere as much as I liked the z3. In hindsight I should have just bought another z3, but one with the 6 cyl engine. I am very curious to see what the

Something just occurred to me. When I bought my car a few years ago I couldn’t decide if I wanted to buy new or a 2 years old one. I wanted to look at the depreciation of each to estimate TCO. I ended up using autotrader listing and looking at 5 and 7 year ones. For the new one, I should have just looked at the lease

I looked into leaseing one. Once I saw that the payment was more than my mortgage, I slowly walked away.

FCA does have several new cars set to be introduced over the next few years. We’ll see how they do, hopefully they have a better launch the the Giulia.

Right but not the Vsport. I don’t anything as crazy as the V with its supercharged V8.

I really wish there was a CTS Vsport wagon. I keep eyeing the CTS Vsport, but I am not ready to give up the utility of a wagon.

I see it. They both have 4 wheels, 2 doors, headlights, and paint. What more do you want in common?

Oh man that looks great. I hope the production version looks like that.

I like the Maurder, but for $40K I’d rather pickup a Challenger Scat Pack. I don’t know know if I’d pay $20K. For $10K I’d be all over it.

I also don’t store them in an enclosed location at home. I keep my spare sitting in a shaded location on my patio. I would like to just keep it in the shed, but I’m worrying about it blowing up if the safety valve release some of the gas.

I really don’t like transporting propane tanks in the back of my SUV. I always go straight to the refill place, and leave the windows rolled down.

Ford liquidated their stake in Mazda back when the economy imploded.

I have an NC1 Miata and the stability control is a little over zealous in my opinion, but it will keep you out of trouble.

The only way I would buy one is if I won the lottery. Once you have 300 million, 85K is just walking around money.

I’ve always bought used, but I think my next car will be new. The reason is that I want to buy exactly what I want. However that is quite a few years away, as I am happy with my current cars.

Yep never cheap out on tires. Though it is important to keep in mind a good tire means different things. A tire that is good for all the highway miles on the family truckster, won’t necessarily be good to auto cross your Miata.

Oh man how did I miss this.
