Everytime I read an article about a Mitsubishi car I think the same thing. That I though they left the US market. I never see them on the road and I have no idea where the closest dealer is.

This makes me glad I’m not on Twitter. Just seems like it is full of drama.
I describe my Durango as a wagon with big wheels.
Who cares about the mega breweries, their product is crap. There are so many small breweries that put out an excellent product. In Texas we have a liquor store chain called Specs, and they carry a metric crapload of beers from small breweries all over the country.
Normally I vote CP on project cars, but this one is priced right. $3,200 is in why not territory.
Let’s face it electrification is the future. Good news is that Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Honda have shown us that electrification can be exciting. I think that starting with Maserati is a smart move. Maserati has been meh for a while and if FCA does this right it could a revitalization for the brand. If they screw…
I financed TTL and all the other fees when I bought my car a couple of years ago. Why not, I financed it at 1.99% and I have that money invested earning over 8%. Heck with the recent market run ups I’m sure I’m doing better than 8% on it.
I had a truck as my daily driver ever since I started driving. A couple of years ago I bought a unibody SUV. I like it so much better. Better fuel economy, ride is so much better, and I can carry 7 people if I need too. I’m done with body on frame vechicles. I don’t need to tow 10K lbs or haul a load of dirt. Since…
I was just telling a friend the other day about how good the Mustang is becoming. I’m planning to replace my Miata in 2020 and I’ve been thinking that I would replace it with a used Boxster. However the Mustang is becoming so good, that I’ve been thinking about it. You can get world class performance for the operating…
That is what is called a Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engine. These engines has been under development for the past 30 years. Gasoline is very difficult to control in compression ignition across a wide power and RPM band. Only just now are control systems becoming good enough to control them. I read…
I want to hear more about this new engine. I hope it is a nice buttery smooth, lazy, naturally aspirated V8. An engine that dosen’t accelerate you, because that would be too crude. Instead it gently wisks you forward as if you are on a cloud in the wind. An engine with gobs of low end torque, because high RPMs make…
Surprised to hear that. When I bought my first house 2 years ago, it was just send them 2 pay check stubs, and the last statement from the checking, savings, and investment account. Only took me about 20 minutes to gather up everything and send it to them, and that was pretty much that. Maybe it has to do with the…
I see what you did there.
Those are some good deals. Now if only I could fit into an ND Miata.
Humm.. guess I should be expecting a letter from FCA soon.
I second the Camry/Solara recommendation. My dad has one and he has a 90 mile each way commute. He also once a week drives to other company sites about 200 miles away. It is comfortable and just eats up the miles. Yes it is dreadfully beige, but lets be honest. After a while any long commute becomes boring no matter…
A friend of mine had a 2011 Explorer with the same problem. Had to roll down the windows every time he passed someone.
The general wisdom is that you never buy the first model year of any car. I think this applies double to an Alfa.
Is that the one with the Nortstar that had 2 cylinders lopped off? Or was that some other GM MEH car?
Agree the costs are too high. Especially in Texas where you have to pay taxes on the sales price of the car, and not just the lease amount.
