I have no evidence for it but I think Waze is more responsive to changing traffic conditions.  Google Maps I think is better for navigation in general.  I tend to switch between the two.

It’s not a setting so much as a feature, but Timeline is incredibly useful if you’re not horrified by the detailed level of tracking lol. I’ve used it to remember random stops I’ve made on road trips, what time I left the house to take a walk, when I arrive/leave work for my timesheet... It's a lifeline for my ADHD.

If you say “tea”, they assume sweet tea. If you say “unsweetened tea”, they assume you said “umm, sweetened tea” and that they misheard you.

I’m not so sure.... been using the same Aeropress now probably for at least 6 to 7 years with a permanent stainless steel filter in it (so zero paper filters to buy or dispose of). I carried it to work in my bag (with aportable grinder that fitted inside the Aeropress), on hikes, and use it at home. I grind my beans

I’ve been able to do this so long on Android that I can’t remember when I first could do it. Almost a decade ago? I definitely had a custom launcher, transparent widgets, and icon selection on my LG Ally, if that places the timeframe anywhere.

Shouldn’t this article be about how iOS users can make their iPhone look like an Android? Maybe it is just me but this article comes across like “oh look at what iPhone can do, and Android can imitate it” as if Android couldn’t do this all along.

That’s a heck of a flex, but I can respect it.

I know this is Kotaku, so lots of people have every console ever and seven PCs lying around, but it bugs me when I hear people talk about “lack of exclusives” for Xbox because the PC version exists. Not everyone plays games on PC. So, if it’s on PC and Xbox, you might as well consider it an “exclusive.” In terms of

I take things like my ISP and storage as fixed costs. You’ll need to download most games to the drive anyway, regardless of which console you get. So I don’t consider those as a weighing factor in digital vs. disc versions of the consoles.

Here’s a real McNugget hack: Instead of a 10-piece, order two 6-pieces, or a 6-piece meal and extra 6-piece instead a 10-piece meal. Why? A 10-piece McNugget is 4.49 in most areas, while a 6-piece is $2 thanks to its position on the $1-$2-$3 menu. So, instead of paying $4.49 for only 10 McNuggets, you can pay $4 and

I get angry every time I see the house in the GMC commercial with the couple in their late 20s/ early 30s living in a million dollar modern mansion and he buys them matching GMCs because her matching watches for the hell of it. Who is this supposed to appeal to?

I hate how aspirational this commercial is.

Actually, the Bible is much bigger than just prose...
