As a pastor - THANK YOU for those Nativity myths. It always bothers me. There’s no evil innkeeper turning them away... in the ancient near east, hospitality is a huge part of their culture.

Would you be able to provide some Scripture references on that? I’m not sure I’ve heard that argument before. I’m not trying to start a fight - genuinely curious. Here’s what my study of the Bible has shown (choose to believe it or not):

I’m wearing a pair right now. Worth every penny. Great for indoors and quickly taking the dog outside.

Go for the VIZIO 5.1 Surround Sound! The wireless between the back speakers and the sound bar do wonders for cable management - I love mine. And it’s about half of your price level. The remote isn’t the best, but it connects via HDMI-ARC to the TV, so I can control it with my TV remote. They have an Atmos version

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 w/ Music does!

I would like to recommend the Garmin Vivoactive 3 with Music. It has many of the premium features the Forerunner has (GPS, onboard music, etc.) at $300 instead of $450. The only thing you lose is some of the more advanced fitness features, which is probably not what your average fitness tracker is looking for. But GPS

Woah, friends. Satire. Satire.

Why would you make something easier that causes diseases, autism, and death? No more comments, please.

99% Invisible is one that impresses me every week. It’s a podcast about the hidden design in all areas of life. Some of my favorite episodes include the making of the NBC Chimes, how sound effects are made for nature documentaries, and how the White House selected 10 letters for President Obama to read each evening.

Yes to all of this! White supremacy is clearly anti-Bible and anti-Christian, and as a pastor, my heart is crushed for all those hurting because of these deplorable events. Here’s a pastor (of a 14,000+ person church) with a fantastic opening statement on a Christian response to this topic.

If you know anything about Hillsong Church, they don’t need Justin Bieber’s money. But they do a lot of good for the city around them and have evidently helped Justin through a crazy part of his life. Hope he keeps pushing forward to get his life together.

I will happily recommend the Kershaw 1605 knife. It’s been my everyday pocket knife for two years and still holds up as sharp and sturdy as ever. And the SpeedSafe one-handed opening makes getting it out really easy. Couldn’t be happier with it.

The Vizio M-series supports Dolby out of the box, and a firmware update lets it support HDR 10 as well. The new TCLs that debuted at CES touted both in their new releases. More companies are jumping on board this year.

I’m debating on purchasing a TV right now or waiting a few months. I think HDR is potentially huge, and future-proofing is important, with both Dolby HDR and HDR 10.

Textra is by far the best. It’s polished and constantly updates with new features (it had the iOS “big emoji” look only days after the Apple conference). I love the quick reply box, with options for texting later, replying in different ways, etc. The GIF keyboard and the ability to take pics directly in the app are

Interesting. Other reviewers might be biased the opposite direction as well. There are many more one-star or two-star reviews by people who have either had a product broken or stopped working after a period of time, while these top reviewers have only had a product for a short period of time before reviewing. Would

Shoot. Looks like they’ve already ended the promo. :(

Totally fair. Just wanted to throw it out there if people wanted to try it out.

The 2016 version of the 5.1 VIZIO sound system is $200 – and you save $50 more by being a Prime member! My discount didn’t show up, but by chatting with a rep from Amazon, they’re issuing me the $50 as a refund.
