What’s the point of COTD anymore, then?

Where’s $kay?

“I’d swap my ‘77 Fiat to electric for the extra power and utility but every ounce of character would be neutered in the process.”

You’ve never broken the tires lose on a Chevy Bolt at 35mph and wondered why all cars don’t have electric motors, then.

We had a Lumina APV LTZ (what a mouthful), and that thing was jam loaded and had a 3800 v6, to boot. My dad loved that thing. He traded it in for a Cutlass (the one that was basically a hotted-up Malibu), and it was the biggest piece of shit ever. The first six months of his two year lease were spent in the shop.

I’m going with tugs of war. Remember, the plural of Secretary of State is Secretaries of State.

When the soundtrack is more memorable than the movie...

The problem with making trucks more family-friendly, is that they become less like trucks. Most crew cab trucks have a near useless 5.5' bed, and by the time you get one with something useable, it's too long to fit in the garage. You want a practical family vehicle? Get a minivan.

It’s it just me, or does that video make the F-150 look like a Ranger compared to the Vaporwave, er, Cybertruck?

The Blazer is already heavily styled after the Camaro. Why not just hot it up, a la Edge ST, and call it a Camaro?

There’s no comparison between the two at all. The Cobalt is a sub-$20k econobox, the Volt is a highly advanced, well-engineered sedan.

The Volt is not a Cobalt in any way, shape, or form. I own both and can assure you of this. Also, $40k was MSRP and after incentives and tax breaks, nobody paid that. Not to mention the fact that even at that price, the technology you got was a steal.

The exact same problem Honda had with the first gen Ridgeline. Do people even know Honda makes a truck?

Good design is paramount, especially when designing something as supposedly utilitarian as a pickup truck. Look at the bed sides, see a familiar problem? Just like the first gen Honda Ridgeline, the sides are too high to put anything in from the side.

No manual? I'm out.

My Volt gets charged overnight, then charged at work, so the actual commute is all electric. Inevitably, there’s running around to do after work and on the weekends so i end up using the engine more than most plug in owners. My lifetime fuel economy is pushing a paltry 70mpg.

Great, another giant touchscreen 🤦🏻‍♂️

Don’t forget Barry Goldwater’s contribution to Nixon’s resignation. It's literally called the "Goldwater Effect".

They’ll complain if the sidewalks are shitty, also complain about property taxes being too much.
