Well, it was biscuits but I made some time recently to really figure it out. Now, I will say I use the grated/frozen butter trick but hey, whatever works. Basically any baking that involves “cutting” butter into the flour is typically my downfall but I’m assuming I can translate my new biscuit ability to most of

First, the link for the eufy powervac seems to be incorrect and second, it looks like it’s up to $199 now.

Oooh, see now ricotta I can do. Thanks!

So, cottage cheese is one of those foods that just grosses me out mentally so could I sub any other sort of dairy for it? Obviously the little fried bits would be gone but would something like greek yogurt or sour cream work too?

One tip for making the icing extra gooey like the cinnabon type is to add a little bit of corn syrup. I tend to like more of an icing/frosting consistency but if you add the corn syrup it keeps it a but more runny.

See, I was totally ready to say the exact opposite lol. I prefer the holiday versions because there’s more PB and less chocolate.

I know you said no Ikea but the cabinet I used (Besta) is only 15 inches deep, you can get different widths and I mounted mine off on the wall so it’s floating. Now, I’m not sure what dimensions you’re working with but mine came out looking great under my tv with smoked glass doors and a glass top (devices still work

Yeah I use ad-block too but they keep sneaking them in or changing how they’re situated so I have to keep re-blocking. Weird how the new owners can’t get it through their heads that this predatory shit actually turns away readers.

I worked at a few Chili’s in Reno (so a small-ish city) like 8-10 years ago and for a dinner shift I would say average was around $75 and topping $100 generally meant it was a good shift, which ran about 4-5 hours. Lunch shifts were more like $40-75 for a similar length of shift. Lunches were usually harder to make

Welcome to the new GMG. Now featuring more recycled content and even more ads!

Thank you! Texans just fucking love raving about everything Texas, even when most of what they put on a pedestal rarely is worthy of the hype (I’m looking at you whataburger). It’s funny because my brother is a transplant in Texas and one of the first things he told me was that Mexican food there was shit. And that’s

I would guess probably about an inch? The seams of the bag don’t always make for the most perfect piping but it definitely does well enough.

You know, I always thought piping was the “fancy way” but if you just go the plastic bag route it’s super easy and more consistent as far as I’m concerned. Solid video Claire!

The kids probably aren’t ready for it yet but Man Down is one of my favorites. Greg Davies is one of the best and his friends in the series really shine. Fair warning, it’s weird but hilarious.

Right. Seems pretty straight forward and common sense to me. Like, this seems like something every job has guidelines against.

I would guarantee that her employee handbook prohibits recording any sort of preparation or proprietary....well...anything about how their restaurants are run. Also, it was an incredibly stupid video so no big loss on their end.

Judging by how things went with Sonic when Inspire bought them, the odds aren’t good! It’s unfortunate that basically any fast food enterprise is most likely awful to their employees.

I mean, you’re not wrong but if you support most any big corporation I would guess the odds are good that money is going towards similarly shitty people.

Jimmy John’s was literally just bought out a few weeks ago and that prick isn’t in charge anymore. He has a seat on the board but it’s largely out of his hands now. Now, they were bought by Inspire Brands which is good and bad. They’ve done great things with Arby’s but not so much with Sonic. Either way I guess at

I still won’t drink Dad’s RB, it always had a soapy aftertaste that just ruined it for me. Mug and IBC are probably my go to’s but nothing beats a good RB float at the A&W near my house.
