I’m really bad about this and not giving up if a zit won’t pop. With that said, the sterilizing everything under the sun stuff is a bit much. I’ll clean my skin or use cleaning wipes before/after and I don’t think I’ve ever had an infection.

That’s not quite it but I appreciate the response. I actually was a bartender at chili’s for years so I know the ratios but I just wanted a fun mixer recipe and I couldn’t find much.
Claire, I know this is a bit OT but have you ever written anything about making a good margarita mix? I’ve been a bit underwhelmed with what I’ve found out there in the online recipe world.
I call bullshit on that first video. It’s clearly pre-cut as you can see the first time he touches it that like 3 sections move.
Chiptle hot sauce is my go to with srirachi being #2. Not sure how I feel about using a real vinegary hot sauce on pizza but I’d give it a try.
Right. This isn’t that serious. Throw in the fact that when you’re using a sponge, you’re using it with hot water and soap which most likely will handle any scary bacteria. The idea that everything needs to be 100% sanitized is stupid and hurting people’s immune system. The reason nobody is that concerned with…
Who doesn’t end their week with a nice piece of roasted shoe?
I yawn a lot when I work out, mainly weight training. I didn’t realize it was a thing until I researched a little.
Sorry but the idea of squeezing out a tube taco bell “meat” doesn’t sound appetizing at all. This is definitely one of those “don’t ask how the sausage is made” kinda situations. Just gimme my garbage food as is.
I will say, they really did nail the social aspect of the server lifestyle. The pube sprinkling might have been a bit much but other than that they really got a lot right.
Having served through my college years at Chili’s, I have to say that sending food back is such a non-issue to me, and usually the kitchen staff too. Like the article says, as long as you aren’t being a prick about it, we would always prefer to get the order fixed, replaced, whatever. Hell, even if someone just…
Yeah, I served for 4-5 years through college and knew of one guy who did this. Also, he got caught and fired. This was at a chain so they may be more diligent about things like this but I have a hard time thinking this happens often and without being noticed eventually.
Lol this is so dumb. Haven’t we learned that living in an overly sanitized environment is actually bad for your immune system? I mean, clean your phone once in a while but this is hardly something to panic about.
I came to the comments to say just this. Back in my younger days my roommate and I searched high and low for this god awful smell in our kitchen and it turns out one of us had put a bag of potatoes on top of the refrigerator who knows how long ago. That smell.....was otherworldly and I’ll never forget it.
Make them fall under the districts and have to live up to similar standards. They *can* be useful for kids with physical and emotional issues but they lack oversight and accountability.
That ain’t shit.
My MIL makes these for holidays or get-togethers we have at our house and I always love them. I also 2nd the “adding a little shot of sriracha” strategy. A little spice can break up the sweetness a bit. And if you’re going to make this appetizer of the people, don’t waste your time making meatballs. These require…
As a Nevadan, it’s awesome seeing Revision’s name thrown around here. Their beers definitely deserve the positive attention.
Eh, I don’t really see this as an issue. Plus in the 50's or 60's when gramps picked his go to beer there weren’t anywhere near the choices we have now. Plus, there’s a glut of good to great beers out there now, even at your nearby 7/11 or grocery store. I enjoy trying new beers but at the same time I know what…
Cream whips quickly with a mixer but definitely not that fast. If it overwhips that’s on you, not the mixer. You’re correct about the stick blender, it does make dense whipped cream but if it’s just for me and I’m in a hurry it’s not a big deal.
