I always felt like the “chill the bowl/wisk/everything” strategy was a bit of overkill. Whipping it by hand is dumb when most people have a stand mixer, hand mixer or stick blender in their house. It’s not like whipped cream is hard to clean off whatever type of mixer you use.

This is what I don’t understand. Around the holidays I made some pies and *gasp* homemade whipped cream and people always lose their shit when you say you made the whipped cream. It literally takes like 2 minutes in a mixer...the total opposite of difficult. Especially when you consider how much better it is over

I know the trend is for fresher, healthier foods but man, sometimes garbage food is still awesome. We had steakumms here and there as kids and we loved it (we were poor). I don’t really eat them anymore but I wouldn’t bat an eye at someone who did. I still love microwave burritos and mac n cheese from a box. Now, I

This was my go-to until MSFT released the Sculpt. I still have this at home but that’s more because I don’t want to drop $80+ on a new scuplt set.

Damn, I was hoping it was an easier swap but I appreciate the info!

Ok, this one applies to their provided recipe....how do you sub buttermilk for regular milk? is it 1 to 1? Because it seems like with buttermilk being so much thicker you would need more. Also, buttermilk pancakes are the best pancakes.

Albert, wait until you see his other killer idea for motivating the team.

I will say after trying it at home that instant pot wings are some of the best I’ve ever had, much less made myself. So juicy and delicious.

Well, this one goes both ways. Teenagers are by and large huge assholes to everyone and that includes wait staff. They rarely know how to behave like normal humans and to top it off they don’t tip well, or at all. There’s not really much of a solution unless your restaurant has a required gratuity. You may have

See, that’s my issue. These pricks who think they’re making some statement are just fucking over some hard-working student or single mom while patting themselves on the back for fighting the system. Of all courses of action to take to move away from tip based food service, that’s the most ineffective. That plus they

Well, you’re going to get a whole lecture on alcohol and appetizers at any chain because management beats that into their servers’ heads. That’s just a server trying to not lose his/her job.

Yes! I always try to eat one but I always realize I have zero desire to cut the shit out of my mouth eating cinnamon sugar puffed air. They should add the nacho fries or something. Hell, I’d be ok if they just left them out completely.

This is a very good thing. More options for the $5 boxes is awesome cuz those things are the tits.

Honestly, the only seasonings you should be putting on your steak is pepper and *a lot* of salt. After the steak is cooked and resting you can make a pan sauce, they’re easier than you’d think. Shallots/red wine/dijon/butter make a great sauce or bourbon/brown sugar/cream. There’s so many variations and they’re really

This is excellent hate for a kinda deals post. More please.

I’m like 0 for 5 on trying to make fudge so maybe I should just give up and use that recipe, or the marshmallow fluff one. It drives me nuts because I love fudge so goddamn much. Somebody is playing a cruel trick on me.

As weird as it sounds, I think your body kinda needs to get used to them. The first 3 or so times I had them I didn’t feel anything and after upping the dose each time, the 4th time fucking floored me. But then after that, the standard 10mg dose usually treats me right.

Your mom is right. Byers is obnoxious and seems to be doing her best “Aziz as Tom Haverford” impersonation and it drives me up the damn wall.

Man, what a super hot take that doesn’t totally get shit out every time a post even mentions IPAs.

Anybody have a good bourbon pecan pie recipe? I’m sure a traditional recipe will work too since it’s not much bourbon added.
