Yeah, we’ve definitely done a little bit of that. When we started up this last time we did with a $40 off or something like that. We also keep the recipe cards for future use because some of the recipes really are great and things we wouldn’t have tried otherwise.

I feel like I’ve seen stuff like that but I’m not 100%. I will say the lack of leftovers can be a bummer because that makes for easy lunches the next day.

I’d say Blue Apron is and isn’t worth it. It takes some of the headache out of planning your dinners but then it also restricts it as you’ve got maybe an extra day or two before ingredients start to go bad.

Sure, it’s not necessarily serious but I can only speak for myself when I say I don’t particularly enjoy allergic reactions or pissing out of my ass. Also, I’m not saying that people don’t get noticeable symptoms, just that they don’t always associate it with food they ate the day before.

I get that myself (and countless others point it out) have done all this before but the video isn’t wrong. Plenty of people get food poisoning without even realizing it. I’ve had times where I seem to have an allergic reaction or a hearty case of the shits for an unknown reason. Just because it doesn’t send you to the

I tend to go a little heavier on the ketchup because too much mayo and it gets heavy. Also, a few splashes of chipotle hot sauce will liven it up a bit.

I just recently tried carpaccio for the first time. It was part of a 4 course meal so I didn’t really have a choice. I was surprised at how much I liked it. It was quite delicious and I’d definitely have it again. Sushi is one of my favorites but the texture is something you have to get used to. It’s not a bad thing,

I could probably add to this that I’ve never had any sort of offal meat. Or if I have I didn’t know. I know it’s a great use of all parts of the animal but I can’t get over knowing what it is, mentally.

I’m with you on the lobster. It’s fine, but I tend to enjoy it in other applications outside of just straight up boiled/steamed/grilled lobster. Lobster mac n cheese, lobster rolls, etc. I’d probably put shrimp/prawns at the top of my list as well.

Listen, I don’t even want to know what that “meat” is made of, nor do I care. Just gimme those BCBs!

Taco bell is complete garbage food but, by god, the BCB is fucking delicious.

Counterpoint: these actually whip ass

The stuff he said was stupid and tone deaf but it was also very much Norm. Just like his follow up on the Stern show was vintage Norm.

I recently traveled to Cape Town and London and both we were able to get cheap sim cards at the airport. Probably $50 combined so maybe a little more expensive than the suggested service but it was super easy and reliable. The only hiccups we ran into was my old phone not using the new sim (current phone worked

That’s fair. I guess sometimes you associate store brands with “cheap” but you’re right. Kirkland does have some really great stuff.

Huh. I never would’ve guessed. I’m not much of a walmart guy but that’s interesting.

I’ll rebut the garbage bags one. The Costco brand ones that are made to compare to the Glad force-flex bags actually end up better than the name brand. The bags and the handles are thicker and very much more durable.

You should check out the 5 x 5 stronglift program. Basically you have workouts A and B and you alternate between the 2 for 3 days a week. Every workout includes squats but then you alternate bench press, overhead press, bent over row and deadlift. There’s an app that helps you track your workouts/weights and even

Honestly, it’s hard to gain bulk. If you’re doing your standard 3 sets of 8-10 reps you’ll be fine. Most heavy lifters will tell you that to get really big you have to eat big. So if you’re not upping your calorie intake to support a lot of muscle growth you won’t have anything to worry about.

I do something similar but not necessary based on any advice/strategy. I just usually start my first set light and then increase for my next 2 sets. Seems to work well enough. I’ve made good progress in the 9 months or so I’ve been doing strength training.
