We were definitely in the cheap seats but I’d say we were treated well. Nothing out of the ordinary but just being pleasant is enough for me. Especially after the flight back on American the BA staff were angels by comparison.

I’m the biggest lad. Also, the staff on British Airways was so much friendlier than the American crew we had on the way back. So not only was I uncomfortable but the service sucked. 

Yes! If it were a few hundred I could understand it but on our longer flights they were anywhere from $800-2,000! I don’t understand who can afford that.

I’m nowhere near that big (6-1, 210) but even being one or two ticks above average is enough to make me miserable. I don’t know how you do it buddy. 

Sadly since I’m a bigger guy there’s not a ton of hope for making these flights comfortable. We tried the upgrade tip too and had no luck. They were all incredibly expensive. The only thing that made me comfortable on my flights was xanax + red wine. 

This is very true. We flew to from SF -> London -> Cape Town and British Airways blew away the leg we flew back to the states from London. The difference in space was very noticeable. Especially since I’m a large-ish guy (6-1, 210 lbs).
