Yeah this is the one that gets me. If you get a shit tip on a big table that takes up a large portion of your section and shift it can ruin your whole night after you take into account tipping out your expo/bartender/busser.

Yeah that was my thinking as well. Even though it’s the least expensive model it’s still >$300 to replace. If I can get a motor for half that it’s the better choice. It’s only about 4 years old so the rest should be in decent shape.

Ok, I have a stand mixer question. I have a 5 quart kitchenaid mixer but the motor seems to be running out of life. I tried making divinity one time and the motor strained hard and it hasn’t been the same ever since. Is it worth buying/replacing the motor or getting it repaired? Yeah, it’s definitely the first one. They just little spots where the coating is a little sticky and you can see it’s a little different texture than the rest of the pan.
