That Guzman quote seems disrespectful AF towards the families of those people. I mean, it’s likely true that they pretty much knew they were going to die horribly, stuck in an elevator but that is an awful thing for their families to have to know/think about and using it as a soundbite in a trailer is just gross. :(

I doubt any of the D-Day movies starred an actor who believed that D-Day was some sort of government perpetrated conspiracy to murder its own citizens for political purposes.

That sprawling war provides a huge number of potential backdrops, and potentially great, unexplored and complicated story lines.
