This story just prompted me to watch the first episode. The concept is great but the writing turned me off...it’s just very MTV, if that makes any sense.

My food intolerances aren’t bad at ALL (no wine or coffee to drink, fine if used for flavour, and minimal lentils/beans) and people still act as though I’m being silly. (Or, for wine, ‘can’t hold my drink’. Erm, I can put away an equivalent volume of vodka without throwing up, so it’s probably noooot that). The worst

Tried to figure out how I knew his face, turns out he was in both Love and Fleabag, two shows I liked very very very much recently! (And Inbetweeners, but that was a while back and I can’t remember him in it)

Yeah, this really isn’t okay. It sounds like perhaps he’s never processed his own trauma, and thinks that being ‘strong’ and pushing feelings down is the way to move on. If that’s the case, it’s very sad for him- but him trying to tell *you* how you should feel comes across as controlling and belittling, and a whole

I ate out tonight and had korean fried chicken wings and salmon tartar, but last night I made tomato-rice stuffed zucchini and peppers and it was so yummy and simple. Also had burgers accompanied by apple-fennel slaw which was a surprise hit!

This person has been trolling (or at least, posting troll-adjacent responses) on other threads tonight.

On the question of children: how do you think you’ll be able to reconcile raising your children in the church AND giving them a choice in their beliefs? Particularly if it’s an intense or conservative church, growing up in that environment is going to make it massively more difficult for them to ever leave it. And

That looks like it would be a great slow cooker candidate, maybe with the liquid reduced somewhat!

MORE FOOD PLEASE! As a overexcited baby cook on a budget (like, not cooking babies, but someone who is 22 but loves cooking) I want lots of recipe reviews and run-throughs like this.

You just make me guffaw loudly in a library.

In cases like this, people will often try to sue some tangentially related organisation so they can actually get some money (as the piece of shit himself is broke). How delicious would it be if she managed to prove that some forced-birth group had influenced him to the point that they were responsible and had to pay

Lies! M&S Simply Food is clearly the fanciest supermarket :-)

This isn’t relevant to this post, but...whose bright idea was it to share the Gizmodo article on the Fappening guy being jailed to the Jezebel mainpage? I clicked without really looking, and didn’t realise it was Gizmodo until I got to the comments. Top comment refers to the hacker creep as a ‘hero’. There are plenty

No one cares about your boner.

Or, in the words of Alyssa Edwards, the RIGGA MORRIS.

I’ve got Russian genes and I’m nearly 6 foot. We can debate your science while I pat your back as you retch, honey.

Also, women do this as a joke, or to bond as a group, or all sorts of reasons that still don’t make it ok to objectify a group.

Thank you so much, I would never have thought of the quiche (and probably pictured it as something intimidatingly difficult)!

Woo I’ve had a quiet enough Saturday night to be in (but not asleep) by midnight UK time! Participating in SNS is a rare treat for me.

That looks terrific! Tonight I went out for dinner, had tonkotsu ramen with a marinated egg and it was blissful. But I’ve felt really good all week about cooking dinners at home AND bringing in the leftovers as lunch the next day, saving a ton of cash in the process! I get a veg box (which has made lazy cooking a lot
