I have terrifying thoughts like this, too. On one hand, restricting various food groups has seemed to have ZERO effect on my IBS- some days I’ll have some spicy beans and be totally fine, a week later I have a spoon of porridge and am on the ground with excruciating cramps. On the other hand, I almost *wish* I could

That DRESS!

Being in Europe right now, I can’t begin to fathom how offended Belgians would be by the idea that *their* suffering is *America’s* Pearl Harbour..

And anarchist protesters will come throw rocks at them instead of being angry at the developers and government policies that are the real culprits for the displacement of communities...

You know that somewhere, somewhere in Brick Lane or near Dalston Kingsland that’s actually about to open...

I say go for it, even for a few months! I managed to have about 6 weeks of magenta hair and it was *magical*. Little girls had the cutest reactions- “mummy, that lady has pink hair! Is she a princess?”

Dyed my hair blonde in anticipation of dyeing it all sorts of crazy colours during law school...then the interviews, video interviews, open days at firms started and now I suspect I’ve missed my chance for funky silver-lavender forever. :-(

Those look almost too beautiful to eat! But also too delicious to not gobble up immediately :-P What are the flavours, pistachio macarons with raspberry cream?

I use mostly BareMinerals stuff on my face, and their Mineral Veil powder is really good! It might not be the longest-lasting or mattifying thing, but it looks natural- never ‘powdery’- and all of their stuff is really gentle on my sensitive face.

There was an article on Jez a while ago about a friend Tinder like app launching in NYC, so hopefully that is the future! I’d use it in a heartbeat.

I splurged on two shipments from indie brands that I’ve wanted to try for ages. Got the ‘Harvest’ and ‘Wrath’ liquid lippies from Black Moon Cosmetics- the packaging looks so up my alley, and they’re supposed to be quite moisturizing, so maybe a nice break from my more drying lippies. And I got two loose eyeshadows

That is AMAZING. I’m pretty sure ‘impersonating a nun’ isn’t a crime, and if it is, it would be worth getting arrested just for the story.

I am so confused right now, is the OP being sarcastic and we’re missing the joke?

Wait, where why how? I want to, like, vacuum my house in them and feel like a goddess.

No, that’s not what you said at all. Quote:

Sure, it was dumb of him to go there. But plenty of people go there who have an interest in human rights, politics, development, etc.- it’s still not a good idea for US citizens to do so, but people are acting as if they can’t imagine any good reason for ANYONE to visit the country. Personally, I would feel guilty

This is some insane moral relatavist bullshit, and I think you need to read up about human rights in N. Korea before you keep posting about them. The point is that he did not receive a fair trial as there is no democracy, no right to appeal, no ‘rule of law’ as we know it. And hard labour generally means death or

I’m picturing it. A literal sea of puckered, lightly hairy assholes...

:-( I’m sorry you’ve gotten mean responses, you’re one of my fave commenters to see around! Jez has been a bit troll-y lately, hasn’t it.

Ahh you’ve lived my dream. I’m not saying I moved to the UK with the long-term goal of meeting and seducing Alex, but...
