I tried a negroni sbagliato last summer and it was NOT for me.. too bitter. I do love this trending audio, though!

My shower curtain is of the NYC subway, and it’s from 2002 (2003?) I am sentimentally attached to it and it has lasted this long because I regularly wash it in the machine— after almost 20 years it’s finally starting to get old, but I am glad it lasted as long as it did (with no mold or mildew, at least that I can

This is my mom’s secret ingredient for her famous mashed potatoes. I don’t know why I never thought to try it on scrambled eggs, but I’m doing that tomorrow!

I’ve had this with zucchini (surprise bitterness)

I LOVE banana peppers-- I pile them on my pizza and sandwiches- but the idea of a stuffed banana pepper sounds very intriguing!

The texture of frozen vegetables is what ruins them for me. I’m going to try the oven hack- thanks so much!!

No one accused anyone of crimes- but it’s creepy and fewer people are afraid to say so out loud these days.

I use mayo sparingly so I bet I can make it last. Thanks!!

Oooh! I’ll keep an eye out for this next time I visit TX or some other Kroger-having state. Thanks!

I’m exvangelical as well, and this phrase hit me so hard: “Those in the Evangelical community seem to think leaving is an easy decision made so that we apostates can live sinful lives.” My mom constantly accused me of wanting to get out of her house so I could go ‘live in sin,’ whatever that meant. I am nearing 50 and

I discovered Jarritos when I lived in Houston for a year- they would be about .45 cents at Kroger and I loved buying two of every flavor. I’m not a big soda person, but man are these delicious!

Checking back in a year later! I am loving my career change; I am challenged, well-compensated, and yet also living with a clear work/life balance. There is salary transparency where I work, so I don’t even have to wonder/fear if I’m being lowballed or underpaid as I was at my last gig. Thanks again for this article

There was so much “wet squelching” that sometimes I recoiled- I felt the captions really captured a lot of the mood/spirit of the series!

It’s SO good over vanilla ice cream-it really does make my sundae feel CLASSY. I add it to my iced tea, but I’ll be trying your boozy cherry lemonade cocktail ASAP. (Not gonna pretend I don’t just take a spoonful right out of the jar, either)

This is why some of us feel this is not about ‘body positivity’: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3672896/Rebel-Wilson-reveals-gained-weight-famous.html

I’ve been in NYC 20 years and haven’t cracked the 6 figures (or even high 5 figures) yet, but I also work in TV/Radio production, and got stuck in in-house promotion hell, aka no notable raises. I’m currently pivoting in my career to see if I can get there.

I actually got a job offer later that night. It’s still in TV production, but moving to the finance side (I’m on creative). I am taking a leap and learning a new skill, while also hopefully gaining a better work/life balance. This article came at a low point, and I’m so thankful for the encouragement!

My mom taught me that trick, but she used stainless steel. Freshly whipped cream is a gift I regularly give myself! Elevates everything. I also keep a can of WC in the fridge, too, because OPTIONS!

Thank you. It’s been almost a year of hardcore searching, interviews, rejection letters, etc, but just today I got some very hopeful news!

The cynicism is an interesting point. I’m burnt out from a year of being a health producer that ONLY focuses on COVID, and there is no mental break from it (if I want to have accurate info in my shows), and the dysfunction in our organization is only exacerbated by remote work and technical complications. I realized
