Oooh, I like Genoa salami!

I love the Old Grey Whistle Test; you can find a lot of clips on You Tube. Sometimes I’ll have a bottle of wine and go down a rabbit hole on YT watching that, Midnight Special, Soul Train, etc. for hours.

I love Jools Holland. I think it’s so great that all the bands stay on the stage for the entire thing. Sometimes the camera will go to another band totally digging who’s playing, like Jay Z loving the Foo Fighters.

I saw this years later but it is truly amazing.

My fave SRV is Live from the El Mocambo. Good lord, he was amazing.

It’s all about money. Well, maybe not ALL, but no one wants to be the one to speak up because of the incredibly enormous amount of money that flows through Hollywood.

Keep trying. I have music playing all day every day, and he’ll run in and ask me what’s playing, then go put it on his own playlist. He mostly has really cool stuff, but he also has a ton of video game songs (or whatever the hell they are) and they make me want to pierce my eardrums.

Pretty much.

I just last week had Pizza Hut in China, and it tasted like every Pizza Hut pizza I’ve ever eaten.

Does she like it? My son has loved Warren since he was about 5 (he’s 9 now), and he was crushed when I had to tell him that he had died. “You mean I’ll never get to see him in concert?” No pal, afraid not.

I don’t know how you feel about Americana, but throw on Rain by Patty Griffin. It’s a great sad song.

I really like it. It seems more wistful to me, but then I don’t listen to lyrics the few first times I put on a new record. I just let the whole thing wash over me, then as I play it more, I start hearing the lyrics. I’m a sucker for this introspective female singer/songwriter stuff.

God, that face makes me want to vomit.

Joni Mitchell - Court and Spark - Her voice just wraps around me like a blanket. It’s so comforting.

I LOVE this album! I remember visiting my sister at college when this came out. She bought it and we listened to it over and over while we did macrame. If that isn’t a 70's reference, I don’t know what is.

Apparently there are a lot of crappy troops out there. I wrote a huge paragraph above if you have any interest. But we (Cub scouts) go camping at least once a year, and the boy scouts go every month except December.

I don’t know if this is anger left over from being a scout as a kid, but none of this is true in my den. We don’t sell popcorn, we host a spaghetti dinner in fall and a pancake breakfast in spring. We don’t force anyone to do any of the outside activities, but typically get a good response because we do things like

And the fact that the entire audience comprised of old white men laughed is fairly damning, IMO.

My dad is a big fan of that grilled peanut butter and pickle relish sandwich. I am more of a grilled peanut butter and bacon kind of girl.

Ha, I got some Jean Nate in a white elephant last Christmas. I had no idea they were still making it, and I remember my cousins’ wearing it when I was a kid. I wonder if they still make Charlie?
