THAT is how a car should look when you put it up for sale.

I don’t think I’ve been more angry about Jalopnik writers in a long time. I can’t believe how ignorant you are. You really really need to spend some time with expensive classic cars. I feel like a lot of you are really sheltered from a broad part of the car world.

Counterpoint: Stay away from my children.

I continue to lose more respect for the bloggers on this site with every passing day... except for Kristen. Kristen is absolutely correct with this take.

You’re a monster.

Your victim blame game is strong... Next think you know, you’ll tell a rape victim to not have gone to that bad part of town...

I went to an exotic car show at a Lambo dealership in Sterling, VA. Tons of people at the event with cars that were worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Everyone was careful to not rub

Why do you think it’s ok to touch other people’s property without permission?

No. Sir you are wrong. Touching them CAN hurt them. Many of those paint jobs cost anywhere from $50,000 to north of $100,000. Additionally the owner has most likely spent over $2,000 to have a professional spend 30+ hours polishing and waxing that paint prior to the show. Many times, I have come back from shows with

Of course you have a shitty take, why wouldn’t you?

Do you touch pregnant women’s bellies too?? Because having been pregnant AND being co-owner of a classic car, I say both are off-limits without permission, but people feel that touching them is acceptable.

God damn entitled millennial

Couldn’t disagree more. Perhaps the rusty clapped out shitboxes you own won’t be affected by people banging into them, but that doesn’t apply to everyone everywhere. If it’s not yours, keep your hands off of it.

Seriously? Do you even like cars?

Touching someone’s car immediately marks you as not a respectful car guy. Full stop. No qualifications. No room for argument. It’s about respect.

Fuck right off and show some respect.

Tell that to my friends mom’s car when I drew a symbol in the roof in the dirt when I was a bratty teenager and the car was kinda a beater anyway. Even after 10 washes that symbol was still there. So keep your damn hands off the paint.

Oh my god please don’t come anywhere near my car

Go ahead and try it next time you’re in town. You’ll never be able to wipe anything with those hands after you try it. Is it acceptable for me to rub my hands all over your wife’s breasts? No harm done right? Then keep yours off my ride!

Entitled idiots thinking that everything is there for their entertainment is one of the worst elements of our modern culture. I have a motorcycle as well, and am awaiting the day I find someone posing/playing on it. Actually, I may have to wait a while, as nobody is really excited to see or be seen with a GS500 except

I’d go a step further. Unless invited to do so, don’t touch other people’s stuff. How the F were these people raised, that they think it’s fine?
