This is actually from the Frozen 2 premier last winter but the peachick grows slowly and the costumes are in good shape so Frozen it is this year.

nothing that is happening is ~illegal~ though, as far as I’m aware? In which case the system of checks and balances, as it’s laid out here, is inherently flawed? It isn’t a system that really accounts for ever-devolving two-party extremism - it just assumed power struggles between court/presidency/congress, not that…
You forget, they’ll still have to the money to fly out the country or to a state that still has rights and get a procedure if need be. The punishment is only for the poor.
So after they make abortion illegal, then what?
as messed up as it is, we need a system in place where neither side can just change the entire course of the country by having someone die at a lucky/unlucky time and maybe this is part of what gets that ball rolling. If it’s a shitty system we should be looking to change it, not just spend our time hoping the…
This is the type of story that really scares me because it’s real.
Shows how little I know; I always assumed it was people burning common culinary sage (a medditeranian plant) and it was some classic European (probably Victorian) superstition!
What's wrong with sage??
Loved this one, not because it was the spookiest, but because of your verbal acuity. Nice work.
This story is true, but names have been changed to protect my password verification questions.
Years ago, I was living in an apartment with my cat Coco. We lived there happily many years, but I wanted a dog too so I bought a house with a yard. Being an old fellow, Coco was upset by the move and was especially freaked…
This happened when I was around 13 or 14. My dad had recently passed away, so it was just me, my mom, and my 5-years-younger brother. After my dad died, my mom became really adamant about always keeping the doors locked all the time, even though we lived in a safe, quiet neighborhood in a safe, quiet Alaskan town. I…
Does it indicate a drop in glucose levels in non-pregnant women? I’ve been trying for what seems like ages to stop getting up at 3:30 am and eating chocolate. :-|
I submitted this last year but it was way too late... so here goes again
I have one this year!! This really isn’t even all that scary, but it was weird, and it happened at the start of Shelter in Place this April.
It was worse because I was alone. And on our way out of the park we stopped at a bat cave that you couldn’t access, but could look into. It smelled awful. There was a map there that showed the network of caves beneath the park and that really freaked me out.
Normal sounds can sound unnatural in the woods. (long)
Years ago, when I was a young adult, I lived in a rural area outside of a small town. To get to my house, I had to drive through a section of a wooded area. Not quite big enough to be a forest, and if you walked enough in one direction or another, you’d hit cattle pastures and farmland.
The real creeps in your story were the jerks who ditched you! What kind of people just leave a mom and child to deal with someone like that?!
Of course, you can go ahead and *ask* that people not use quotes from Muslim religious texts in their artwork. But artists do not need to accede to this request. And, when artists do quote Muslim religious texts in their artwork, you can complain about it. But the complaint is not one that the artist needs to take…
Welp, there goes any chance I had at productivity for today.
