I can imagine!
I can imagine!
We gave up and went back into the bar after that. Not very badass.
Yes, I can honestly say that it's a happy marriage. Took us a while to get this way, though!
This is KEY to my 17 year marriage.
Ha! I told you I'm CLASSY!
The mugging worked out okay! I guess when you’re drunk enough to have sex with a stranger in an alley, you’re drunk enough to confound would-be muggers. It’s kind of a blur, but while I was trying to figure out where my money was, the guy I was with grabbed for the 6 pack we’d brought out with us, somehow dropped it,…
Well, anyone who’s ever spent time in Philly knows the horror of the bathrooms at Dirty Frank’s. After banging in both of those, I decided to top myself by banging a guy in the alley out back. (Mind you, these bangings were spread out over several years, obviously I’m a very classy gal). But I don’t think it gets much…
I am familiar with it and therefore completely understand your concern.
I think that may have been what inspired the article in The Atlantic.
That line is why I’ve secretly never stopped wearing scrunchies. When I do my hair at all, I straighten it, then further tame it with a low ponytail in a scrunchie until I’m ready to walk out the door. If I use a regular hair tie instead I end up with a 45 degree angle in my hair.
Ours are brother and sister, so yeah, they've always been together. I think even if they aren’t playing together just watching another animal offers a little mental stimulation. And don't get me started on butthead cats, these two are the worst!
I also think it helps if you have 2. It seems counterintuitive if you're in a small place but they really do keep each other entertained. Our current cats are the first I've kept exclusively indoors and they seem perfectly content. They chatter at birds from their window seats.
One thing I noticed in the WaPo article is that they looked at anyone who’d had even 1 same sex encounter. It seems like that would include a ton of straight people who experimented once in college, etc. I wonder if that threw off the results a bit. Not that it should matter. If people really were ‘choosing’ to be…
I think I saw a Fuddruckers in FL a few years ago but otherwise it’s been decades.
It’s funny, as a kid you have all these monitors on your health but once you’re an adult it’s all left up to you. And so many young adults don’t have regular physicals for various reasons. You’re really on your own. I feel kind of lucky that back in my 20's I cut myself at work and got a tetanus shot in the ER.…
I completely agree. My SO and I were just talking about this last night and came up with the same ticket. Biden/Harris is our best shot to take out Trump. Which is the only thing that matters in 2020. Unfortunately, right now our party is rife with starry-eyed idealists.
I feel you, I wore a bra 24/7 except for showers! My insurance did cover me, I just posted a detailed reply to Scavenger Rey about it but if there’s anything I left out feel free to ask!
Nice to know another freak of nature, lol! I just posted a reply to Scavenger Rey with more details, but my biggest advice is to join a BR support group on Facebook (if you don’t use FB I’d just made a throwaway account, that’s how helpful they are). There are women from every stage of the process, including those…
Hi! My insurance (Cigna) approved me on the first try. I almost fell over when I got the call, believe me. I’m not sure what did it, I’ve had back and neck issues since I was 20 but I hadn’t done physical therapy in over 10 years. So I’m not sure they took that into account? The one criteria that seems almost…
I feel your pain. I was a 36K until Thursday. I commented here somewhere.
