Stop me if I’m wrong, but with 1) universal access to 3) reliable birth control that has no side effects, wouldn’t abortion become rare? At least it would happen a lot less. (Yes, I know about contraception failure. We have a long way to to achieve the “reliable” part.)

Maggie Gyllenhaal “celebrated the launch of Prisoner’s Wine Eternally Silenced Pinot Noir,”

He’s making $82,000 to be football coach and AD for the school (and I’m willing to bet that most of the AD duties will be handled by a secretary or other staffer). Why do I have the feeling the average teacher salary in Mount Vernon, Texas is a lot less than that...

Hawaii or do what Joey Harrington did and move back to Oregon and be a god on the streets. Though Joey did fail spectacularly in opening a restaurant in Portland - his Lions career was more successful.

In today’s NFL, who’s to say getting the slotted guaranteed money for the No. 2 overall pick and retiring to your native Hawaii as early as possible isn’t “success”? Go home, Marcus, and don’t look back. You’ll be 26 years old, rich, and local hero.

Thing is, I never saw him or Winston as NFL caliber QBs.  Both had major flaws in reading how plays diagnose in real-time, and could be inconsistent throwing the football to boot.  This limited both guys upside, as they would alternate between good and bad stretches of football.  They are, simply put, mediocre NFL QBs

Titans Tee up Tannehill, Tanking for Tua, Though Totally Terrible Team in Tidal Town will Take Top Talent

“Wait a minute, Seattle doesn’t have a team anymore!”

A good time to remember that Colin Kaepernick gave up his job and all the considerable perks that come with it to stand up against injustice, while LeBron James, whose legacy and bank account are both more secure, is unwilling to risk even a small fraction of future earnings to speak on one of the few world issues

This is just fucking gross. Thats really all I can say about it.

Zach Brown Banned, Chicken fried

The only Chargers fans I know of that live in LA are those that went to school/college in SD, fell in love with the Rivers/LT Chargers, then moved back home afterward.

I never understood the logic:  Take a city that hasn’t cared about NFL football for about 20 years.  Put a team there, wait a year, then put another team there.  Why?  Maybe if the Chargers were there alone their fans would follow and make some new ones, but once the Rams were there, the Chargers were not getting any

I’ll say it again - they’ve got no sense of porpoise out there.

I’d like to start a petition.. if the Dolphins go 0-16 then we no longer have to witness the 1972 Dolphins celebrate when the last undefeated team losses... watching them celebrate is insufferable.

You know how passionate people get about instant replay? I’m that way about in-helmet headsets. I don’t even like plays being signaled in from the sidelines. And don’t get me started on Chip Kelly’s rebuses.

Good to see Pope Thrower’s son doing well.

I also enjoyed the part where one of the opposing players also seemed to be explaining this guy’s fuck up to him at the end of the play.

It is heartbreaking this needs to be a thing. I’m happy there is such a progressive show for kids though.
