My mom was terminally ill during my wedding and passed away shortly after. Since she wouldn’t be around to see my older sister married (or have her own father daughter dance) I thought she might get a kick out of sharing my father-daughter dance with my sister. You know, getting both out of the way (just in case).

Zero dancing at my wedding, zero regrets

Well, if Jeremy Piven and Chlamydia had a semi-sentient child...

Ooo dear again now there’s pressure on me to produce a cute pair of shoes lest my taste be questioned! They’re a LOT bluer than the photo.

‘So what look are you going for, for your wedding?’

Team cat

“a tiger at his father Jeremy’s engagement party”

Why though? They’re pretty clearly in the right here.

We’ve all been in a mood. It’s cool.

Fuck people who use wild animals for their entertainment.

My family is not as religious as they like to think they are, but so much of this rings true for me. The strict rules, the dependency... I kept thinking a time would come when their demands would ease up, but I’m nearing 40 and not much has changed. Their unwillingness to allow our parent/child relationship to evolve

Well you’re entitled to whatever dumbass opinion you want (not you you, but the generic you) but then the rest of us get to hold you accountable when your opinion kills your children.

The families are suing but the fines the hospital has to pay to the government are specifically for violations of the law. This judgement should help the families in their lawsuits quite a bit, though.

I’d assume they’re free to sue if they want to.

My folks used to give their names and Joe and Faye King. Their lovely family includes children Lee, Mark and Jack.

“Heywood, and I’ll spell the last name J-A-B-L-O-M-E.”

As if they’d really understand what the Naturalistic Fallacy is: that we really can’t judge something merely by its nature, or even that just because it’s “always been” automatically means it’s “always right” or “always good this way.”

They’re the same kinds that wonder how anyone can profess to have morality without religion telling them not to rape, steal, and murder people. If the only thing keeping them from those acts is a book, I hope to hell they never have a crisis of faith.

Agreed. What they are trying to protect us from is NOT really sexual assault...if trans women (or anybody else) are legally allowed to go into a women’s restroom to go to the bathroom, it does not follow that they are legally allowed to assault people. If you want to do more to protect women from sexual assault (test

These are probably all the same people that said they were boycotting Target when they took the gendered signs out of the toy aisles.
