You just described my childhood. My favorite response to questions I had was being told to stop being silly. As a teen I started looking outside Christianity for my answers and eventually just stayed out.

Wouldn’t removing the “liberal bias” from the Bible pretty much mean removing the Gospels entirely?

My guess is that they are also straight because no way in hell does an LGBTQ person ask that question either. I’m surprised by the number of women who don’t realize just how sexist our culture is.

That’s very true. I always find it hilarious when people like Paul Ryan talk about their deeply held Christian beliefs and how much they love Rand in the next breath. I always want ask if they know anything at all about Rand and her deeply held beliefs, and I mean. Anything. At. All.
