I have done that so many times. I’ve apparently pissed off acquaintances by doing that, but I don’t care. There are always coffee shops or other alternatives where you can sit around and talk after your meal. Heck you can even go to someone’s house and do that.

If they’re averse to being in the bar area they can also always chill outside until they’re ready to actually use the restaurant’s space for its intended purpose or ordering and consuming food.

That is so ridiculous. Do people not realize they’re just costing you and the restaurant money by taking up space that could be used for people who are actually ordering food? The same with just sitting there after eating.

I have never understood anyone objecting to a store offering a small selection of halal meats. If you don’t want to buy halal meats you still have other meat to select from. I would agree it’s a problem if someone were forcing them to purchase the stuff, but since no one is doing that what’s the damn problem?

As a Georgia born girl I’m actually amazed we ever got to a point where we could even buy it on Sunday at all.

Caribbean rum YUM! I actually caused a mild uproar with one of Mr. LBA’s former employers because I ordered Scotch at a company function because the owner of the company didn’t think women should drink anything but white wine and maybe lighter domestic beers. I wish I had, had a cigar with me that night. We still

Speaking of beer my favorite is when I’m out with Mr. LBA at a place with a good selection of craft beers. Every single time the server puts whatever stout or porter I order in front of him and his keoke coffee in front of me. We always swap them with enough flare to make it very obvious who has the really dark beer

People do that last thing? Seriously? That’s what the bar is for people.

It’s okay sweetie. We all step in it on these comment sections sometimes don’t we? And frankly I shouldn’t have pushed it that late taking my medication either.

If the first movie did that to you please don’t watch the second one.

No. Just no. For the love of all that is unholy NO! SATC2 was bad enough. Oh hell, the first movie was completely unnecessary.

I can only imagine.

Rudeness on top of that crap would be my last straw. I can’t abide by people talking down to others.

Don’t you just love it when they pull that shit on you?

I got thy single malt bug in my mid 20’s as well. I had some older friends with a great liquor cabinet. I was only a cheap date until I hit about 21 and discovered imported and craft beers and good whiskey.

Mr. LBA and I have dined with those people. We don’t go out with any longer because damn it’s just not that hard to figure out what to eat.

That’s several members of my family. I hate that and always feel bad for the server when they do that. They also say they’re ready and then ask several questions about the five or so things they’re debating having. I don’t go out to eat with those family members unless I can’t avoid it.

It’s a twice a day medication. We were just very busy on Saturday so we ended up eating later than usual.

Team Why Not Both? Also cheesecake.

I also have a question for current and former waitstaff about how big an annoyance are people who send you away several times before finally ordering their meals. Mr. LBA and I were out with his friend and friend’s girlfriend a few nights ago, and girlfriend sent our waitress away three times and only made up her mind
