Can anyone who knows the ins and outs explain why he’s no longer at Nerdist and its parent company? Wishful thinking to think they got wise and let him go?

If eating too much red meat and walking yourself right up to the edge of a stroke over racist conspiracy theories…
And how do you know that he’s not gay, queer, pan, bi? You don’t. We don’t. He dated Emma Stone but at the end of the day that really doesn’t mean anything concrete.
You’re so brave for telling “LGBT” what to think.

I thought it was just a set-up for Matthew McConaughey to do his shock face over and over again?
Tell us more.
As a marine biologist, I know there are many better ways to kill a man than feeding him to sharks.
I loved Bourdain for a lot of reasons, but this might be the top of the list. The biggest deal about it, to me, was that he changed over the past 20 years, too. Kitchen Confidential was written by a guy who respected women who managed to survive in a restaurant kitchen, but wasn’t all that interested in asking why…
I will miss him. I looked up to him, and I am not even a foodie. His outlook on the world, at least as much of it that I could perceive from his shows and writing, impacted me in a positive way. I had just watched his latest Parts Unknown episode from Hong Kong, and having been there, I relished it. It seems so…
Also, drinking while on meds. When I was a young idiot on antidepressants, I figured the warning was purely physical and thought I was only risking a hemorrhage or something if I mixed the two. One drink in and I would just start bawling as a side effect.
I was really caught off guard by the outpouring of emotion about AB’s death. I’d been a big fan of his for 20+ years. I know that he was a famous, popular figure, but I had no idea the depth and breadth of his fandom.
Celebrity deaths never really phase me at all, but Bourdain is something else. His voice was one that said what I needed to hear. I’ll miss his interesting, entertaining and important work.
I was just expressing something similar about Bourdain (except in regards to his gift for appreciating the basic humanity people from all cultures share, and presenting that to his viewing audience - his shows are often a great antidote to dehumanization and othering).
I know. Just to clarify, I don’t intend on taking any of these drugs. I just don’t think people should have criminal records for having them.
Oh Canada! I know this is probably a long way off, but I hope this is the first step towards decriminalizing all drugs here.
Although my parents weren’t religious, they were terrified that my sister and I were going to have sex while we lived at home. My brothers, on the other hand, could travel halfway across the world because “boys are safe.” They convinced us our lives would be over if we had sex. My mother even went as far as to tell me…
Sometimes I wonder how Christianity would have fared if that asshole Paul had never shown up. I’m an atheist, but reading Jesus’ words it’s hard not to like the guy- he was a radical determined to shake up those in power, he taught that people deserved to be treated well, preached that the poor should be fed and…
I foresee Elle Woods campaigning to become the first woman president
YAY!!! I’ve lost count of how many times I watched the first one. (I’m headed to law school in the fall, so I’m extra excited about this!!!)
