Honestly they’re probably not that effective because our criminal “justice” systems emphasizes punishment and incarceration over rehabilitation, so even though the intention behind this kind of legal consequence is good, I doubt that a lot of resources have been put into developing a really solid system. Even in NY.

She deserves a harsher sentence. This is disgusting and no amount of “education” is going to change a woman who purposely used the police to try to lynch this man. She knew what she was doing, so “educating” her doesn’t make sense.

Amy Cooper knew her actions would either get Christian Cooper killed or falsely imprisoned. She did this because he asked her nicely to put her dog on a leash. This is the act of an evil person. Period.
