I agree with the other commenters. I think Law is likely to be the previous initeration of Captain Marvel rather than the Love Interest character. Unless I’m missing someone, Marvel’s been fairly good about making the love interest characters age-appropriate for the lead and so I trust them to continue with that

I totally get Christopher Plummer. I tell my colleagues all the time that I’m going to literally die at work. I plan to keel over in my office, hunched over my well-worn keyboard. I mean, who can retire in this economy, right? Sure, I acknowledge that it’s going to be a bit uncomfortable for my co-workers, but

Mother! (Aronofsky directed, Lawrence starred), which the New York Times’ A.O. Scott called “a hoot!” but most critics hated...

I fully believe Plummer will never retire and that he’ll die onstage. He’s a master.

Drink’em if you got’em folks.

It cracks me up that in that transcript she said she was *this* close to overexposure and then went on that tour of the world with Tom Hiddleston.

Ughhhh.

I mean...

She’s agile like a snake.

I love Taylor Swift, but this is accurate.

Maybe it has nothing whatsoever to do with music and everything to do with brand. Swift doesn’t have any opinions on Trump for the same reason that she keeps her songs in both genres. She moves with the zeitgeist, and wants to stay agile.

As someone who grew up in some shitty neighborhoods, I don’t see gentrification as some sort of evil monster. I’d much rather have a legit grocery store in the neighborhood than be stuck with corner stores with jacked up prices. I’d much rather have occupied houses than living next to vacant properties. Where we live

That’s how it goes. I’m not rich and I know I could be forced out of my neighborhood and, frankly, that would be unfortunate but the change would do my neighborhood some good.

“I tried not to make a big deal of it. I just wanted to do my job.”

She offered it an art gallery. And I’m sorry, but no. Either the focus is on housing policy or the focus is on individuals. If the lack of massive affordable housing projects and the proliferation of big corporations in neighborhoods are the problem then Laura Owens isn’t. Nor is someone who wants to flip houses

I bathe in Répreçion right before strapping on my 6" steel-spiked stilettos and heading out to dominate teh menz. I cannot truly feel like a woman until I do so.

and not wearing makeup that would be “deemed harassing to male colleagues,”

That struck me too. I’m a male and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a woman whose makeup felt like it was harassing me. I’m not even sure how that would work.
