I wouldn’t rule out foul play.

“As the majority party for the first time in 26 years, Democrats are taking full advantage of their newfound power.”

Between this, the ERA ratification, and the Virginia House voting to get ride of “Lee-Jackson Day” (the state holiday celebrating the Confederate generals on the Friday before Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and making Election Day a state holiday instead, I am actually... proud of my state? Such a weird, welcome feeling!

Thank goodness. I had the means and privilege, but still navigating abortion care in Virginia was a high-stress nightmare, one where it’s easier to go to DC or Maryland depending on your location. I can’t imagine what other women had to go through.

I am gladdened to see mandatory waiting periods go. They are a form of emotional and biological terrorism. When a woman has decided to terminate the squirming parasite in her innards, every subsequent squirm is a torment and every minute feels like an hour. Waiting periods are the very definition of torture.

As someone in abortion care work, this is so amazing and promising. It feels good to have a victory to celebrate amidst all of the terrible news that seems to bombard us by the minute for the past 3 years.

Ya’ll are fucking nuts.

I’m still dying at the idea of it being sponcon

“Spirit was acting like they weren’t going to do anything about it,” she said. “Even the pilot told me to go into the airport towards the front desk to ask for police assistance.”

Ah, Jet. The band Pitchfork reviewed an album of by posting a picture of a monkey drinking its own pee.

Dude. Didn’t she see that automatic shade/curtain system?? I’d be bed dancing as well. I STILL fantasize about getting a set-up like that one day.

Law is fantastic is just about everything I have seen him in. In my mind, one of the most underrated actors out there. I think he gets a worse rep than he deserves because he is too beautiful to be a pure character actor, even though that is where he shines (See also Brad Pitt).

He also comes across as a not terribly

I’m fairly certain it’s on either Prime or Netflix, as my wife was just watching it for about the twelfth time. It is one of the best romance comedies out there. (And it counts as a Holiday/Christmas movie.)

Is it just me, or did he seem to be on the cusp of being the break-out leading man of the mid 90s before kind of disappearing?

it can’t be overstated - there is some seriously good knitwear in this movie. Like, beyond cozy.

Every movie should include a character dumping Edward Burns, just on principle.
