Hmmmm. I suppose the best thing I ever did was buy multiple packages of those peeled garlic cloves, blitz them in the processor until fine, lay flat on a sheet, freeze them, then divvy it up into baggies in the freezer. You can easily get sticks. PC, Lactancia, Gay Lea- they all make sticks. They are more expensive than the pound blocks, tho. You get 4 sticks to a package, each being 1/2 cup of butter.
