One thing that a lot of people are missing is that Overwatch is a Blizzard game. As such it instantly has more replay value than say Battlefront or Titanfall.

You have to wonder if this could have any relation to how gravity waves interact with each other. If gravity waves operate the same way as, for example, fluids or sound waves then it would make sense to have these structures in our galactic structure.

I think the reason Blizzard is making the game is because the online FPS genre is old and overdone. Let's face it, the entire genre is stagnant, filled with military type shooters and TF2. That is about it.

If memory serves me correctly only 2 series really got space combat somewhat right. Space Above and Beyond and Firefly. There's also Andromeda if you use dialogue for reference.

Actually these are artificial islands which are stationary targets that can be rendered useless by a couple of cruise missiles. Carriers on the other hand...you know...move. They also have more anti-missile defenses than most countries, including China.

You really should play it. You can get it on GoG with the expansion Alien Crossfire for $6. Every few months for the past 15 years or so I go back to it and play a few rounds. It's also really easy to edit the config files to make it work on widescreen monitors.
