All right, hear me out - I keep my PC permanently connected to my TV, sit on my couch, and play games (or surf the internet, or watch Netflix, or whatever) with a mouse and keyboard. It rules! More people should do this.

Kotaku produces, imo, at least three different types of pieces: investigative journalism (where they interview people and/or dig up new, unpublished information and publish it), reviews/essays/musings/other forms of analysis (where they take some game or gaming phenomenon and dive into it and analyze it), and “hey,

On the one hand, 7pm is objectively the best and it’s not even close, but on the other hand, it’s interesting to see how other people can be wrong in so many different ways.

I can’t wait for the series of coordinated Jim Spanfeller roasts across the entire G/O multiverse.

anyone notice that he didn’t say “video games forever, Kotaku dot com” at the end? *eyes emoji*

When I saw the Leafs jerseys come up in the video I thought, “Huh, they don’t usually show the away team’s fans after the home team scores a goal.” And then a few seconds later, I thought, “Ahhh, that’s why.”

If you haven’t read it, allow me to highly recommend the short story “The Things” by Peter Watts. It’s the story of The Thing from the Thing’s perspective.

Tim, thank you for putting “Vesti la giubba” in this video

Not mine, but a lot of FPS players who used to play CS 1.6 and now play Apex or Fortnite or whatever will continually quickswitch their weapons out of deeply ingrained habit while running around, even though it has no speed-boosting effect outside of CS.

It is interesting that Epic’s management of the Fortnite tournament scene is so poor that they would let something like

Thanks for all you do, Stephen!! Keep up the great work, and congrats!

The non-Alamo missions like this one are some of my favorite places to visit when in San Antonio. They have lots of cool historical info, cool architectural features (like the Rose Window in the bottom-center of this photo), and not nearly as many tourists as the Alamo.
