Even if she was kicked off the show because her life is too “boring” all that means is that her life is NOT a trashy mess. That’s something to be proud of. Many of us (me) wish we could say the same.

I might be more inclined to support him if he’d said “retired” rather than “afraid.” The latter isn’t a cool way to characterize someone. Even if that was the word Mary-Kate used, and I’m skeptical it is, that seems like a detail that’s better left private.
I am usually somewhat leery of Allred, but I completely agree with her on this. A 25 year old sexually grooming a 14 year old girl is not a “sex scandal”, it’s a potential crime. She’s a potential victim if anything happened, not a mistress in a cheating scandal.
Like elderly fetuses.
Exactly. I like to think he drug his buddy back for proper (?) burial. Didn’t want him dead on the stairs to be gawked at. Backfire: tons of gawking.
Maybe what you’re witnessing is Frank dragging home Steve, who had a little too much whiskey down by the port and needed a good old-fashioned bro rat to get him back to Marg and the three kids safely.
This post is exquisite. I feel everything and nothing.
All I can see is Rat Rat screaming “Damn it James, you are NOT dying on me! You’re gonna make it!” But we all know James is fucking dead.
Thank you Josh for coining “Rat Rat”
That’s probably the reason they use, but I don’t really buy it as a valid excuse. They don’t do any ‘observation’ when you go in for your shot every three months. It’s not like the doctors are checking your bone density when you go in. Any questions they *might* ask could also be asked by a pharmacist, who could then…
My experience is that pharmacists are GREAT about explaining the health related stuff for medications(often better than MD’s). But when they ask (and they always do) you have to say YES! I hope the target audience does that. I worry about young women developing depression because On. Wrong. Pill. Pharmacists need to…
I love pharmacists. Whenever I have questions about drug interactions (can I take Benadryl even though I'm already on x, y, z? How is x going to interact with Tylenol?) they are the BEST.
Pharmacist know far, far more about drug interactions than doctors. That’s one reason you ALWAYS want to get all of your prescriptions from one pharmacy if you can, because then you are guaranteed that the pharmacist knows about all of your medications.
While pharmacists are allowed to refuse prescriptions due to religious reasons, they must refer the customer somewhere else.
Pharmacists actually often know more than doctors do about side-effects and contra-indications.
This topic is so incredibly confusing and hasn’t really been adequately explained anywhere that i’ve seen, so I’ve been googling tonight. Links to articles from the Seattle Times and PBS News Hour are below, as is a link to a FAQ page from the Oregon State Pharmacy Association. These sites are where I got the…
Yup. Contraception under the ACA is covered (mandatory) at no cost to the recipient. However, that only counts for prescriptions, NOT over-the-counter medicine. So if hormonal birth control was made over-the-counter, Republicans get to claim that they’re “pro-woman” while costing women *millions* in birth control…
When it comes to medications I think a pharmacist would be a much better person to rely on than a doctor in all reality. Assuming they ask the standard medical questions. Pharmacists really know their drugs.
I’d hope so. It’s not like one can dilate their own cervix at home and put it in themselves. Same with Depo Provera and the Norplant.
My main fear isn’t that it will be given out lightly, but that it being available OTC will be reason for people to say that through the ACA, it should no longer be available without copay because you can just buy it at the pharmacy like it’s Benadryl or Tylenol. It’s absolutely a victory, but the $0 copay part of the…
