Dammit, I work at an orchard that has more than 25 varieties of apples and I found a cosmic crisp in the store yesterday and was going to bring it in to work today for us to try it, when I read this article I realized I forgot out at home.

Haven’t seen the movie but agree that Rudolph should be important part of it as should his five years of hiding and why it was possible for him to do that. But I disagree that the bombing was a ‘rather small affair.’ It was huge news at the time, rightfully. Terrorist bombings at the Olympics will always be big news.

It sucks too because the problem Olivia mentioned with how female sexuality is treated in relation to feminism is a real one. It just does not apply at all to this situation she's trying to justify.

I wouldn’t make that big of a deal out of what Wilde said, for the simple reason that I don’t expect the star of the movie to shit on the director and the movie before the movie even comes out, and risk being labelled “difficult” and ending up doing commercials and shitty TV shows instead of being the next big thing

Exacly. If you really have to show her as a sexy character, then have her go home and cuddle up to her partner or go have a one night stand with someone who is not a source. This plays into the BS stereotypes that fuel misogynists that all women have to offer our looks.

It supports a “fake news” narrative, for that alone it will probably do quite well with about 30% of the country.

People who watched The Leftovers.

I know it was already said, but it deserves to be said again.

People who watched The Leftovers

They could have done a top 1000 and GoT’s final season would not have deserved even a second’s thought.

In the opening seconds of the trailer there is a blink and you will miss it scene of Wonder Woman walking into (an/her?) apartment. And right across the street is the Watergate Hotel! (scene of the infamous Watergate break in of the DNC). Wondering if it is just a goof or is it Wonder Woman who is ultimately

Yes, but she’s on Team Mayo! Maybe she’s a Friend of Kenji.

Of course Richard Jewell got off better than people that were killed (I’m not even sure what your point is), but he got royally screwed, even if you’re too young remember.

My experience between media coverage of events which I have witnessed is that they feel it necessary to form some sort of narrative in order to tell the story, and usually that requires the people involved to be made into caricatures of some stereotype or other.

I actually knew Jewell a bit, through some high school friends who worked summer jobs in (this will be shocking) a store security department that he ran years before the events here. He was just a nice, mild-mannered guy and anyone who knew him at all could have told you he was not single-handedly outwitting the FBI.

Arians is also pretty vocal about his assistants he thinks should be head coaches.  He coached Todd Bowles in college and always pushed his name in interviews saying he should be a head coach.  Unfortunately for Bowles he landed with the Jets.

It’s not just the coaching.  It’s the broadcasters as well.  I’ve noticed a segregation of the women broadcasters.  The men get to broadcast the play action and it’s only men in the sports center during half time.  The women are relegated to the sideline and get a few minutes to update the viewers on injuries or

She’s actually not that bad. Some of her Inside Amy Schumer sketches are good. Idk why men on the internet have such a hate boner for her. I honesty find her funnier than Chappell and his new “trans people suck, AMI” bit.

Not sure where the OP is going, but I don’t think anyone is objecting to the scene because it portrays a woman having a sexual side.  No one is mad because they expected Scruggs to be “sexless” and she was portrayed as being a person interested in sex.  They are objecting because the specific sexual transaction at

Also a lot of main issues people take with her record are a lot more complicated than “it bad she bad” that people tend to take with her. Take the truancy crackdown for example. The policy was designed to go after parents whose children missed more than 90 days out of a 180 day school year- that level of truancy is so

Visibility does matter. Yesterday I was hanging out with a couple of my fellow dude-friends who are both expecting their first child. One of them has previously expressed (mildly) homophobic views in the past, though that was over a decade ago. When the subject was brought up yesterday he confirmed he would have zero
