You... You do realize that plagiarism was a thing in 2005, right?
Well, Dubai Air is a made up airline. (Etihad is the actual national airline of the UAE and somewhat amusingly in context of the show, they sponsor Man City). And I’m not sure Sam’s protest was against DA but their parent company - he’s trying to drive attention to that company’s abuses to the Nigerian land and people. Read more
To provide context to American viewers: although the UK is in general, outside of a small number of troglodytes, very committed to LGBT rights, and there is very little stigma surrounding being gay these days (none at all in much of society), gay men don’t exist in football. At all. AT. ALL. Last year there was an… Read more
So did they.
Were those other things really foreshadowing? Mephisto wasn’t so much actually foreshadowed, that seemed to be much more fanwank speculation. Falcon & The Winter Solider visited Madripoor, which was a big element of the Power Broker plot. It was an location. Did you think it was teasing an appearance from Patch or… Read more

Well thanks for sticking a Bananarama song in my head!
Ah, so you’re hoping for a stealth Eleventh Hour reunion? Someone get Arthur Darvill’s agent on the line...
Yeah, when he said “I know what this place is” I was like, yeah, me too, I’ve been Dragoncon drunk on those elevators more times than I can count.
I was just so enamored with WandaVision that I don’t think I’m able to give F&WS a fair shot. Also the last ep was kinda... “meh” to me. But I did enjoy the little dance, and really hope we see something cool come from Zemo before the series is done (only three more eps!)
Marvel really like shooting at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. It showed up in the Homecoming trailer as well (though I think the shot was changed for the actual movie).
To be honest...I did not expect this show to have such a nuanced portrayal of Black life! Thank you for this feedback, I’d be open to more.
