Well, there was the onetime I was accused of being u-g-l-y, and then subsequently informed that I have no alibi for that offense.

I mean the show isn't called "independent wives" it's kind of right there in the title isnti it?

OMG I HATE MYSELF RIGHT NOW GO AHEAD AND SET ME ON FIRE BUT

It’s the “principle,” as it always is with these fucks. Who knows who else the government might start requiring them to treat like human beings?

No, but there’s actually a reason to continually change things: being able to plan ahead.

Episodes exist on the internet, which means contestants can go back and re-watch old episodes. The point of a technical challenge is that it’s supposed to be a surprise, testing how well they know their baking fundamentals. But

You know institutions of power have had a long history of doing this to black people, right?

I mean...

Like the world’s greatest alien explorer, the show has two hearts.

Jodie Comer is the f**king BOMB-DIZZLE! She deserves every award that comes her way. The second season of Killing Eve was inconsistent but she was outstanding through and through.

Actually, no, they don’t just dump raw sewage into the ocean.  That’s an old rumor and it’s a good idea to read up on things like this. They have significant sewage-processing systems (you are right about humans producing a lot of waste) but it get pumped ashore and they pay for that.

And it’s really just saying how much food they have, not how much gets eaten? It’s not like the ship returns and every single ice cream cone is gone and every single burger was eaten and no one wanted for anything. I’m sure someone’s done the math and they know the exact amount of everything to minimize cost, weight,

Why link to the horrible Daily Mail when there are not-shitty publications with more thoughtful coverage?

IIRC the latinx community in Texas makes up 25-30% of the state and they have some of the lowest voter turnout of any demographic, so if they can get them out to vote it could make a difference. That said, Texas is still pretty red compared to Georgia, NC, and Arizona, which all happen to have senate races this year.

Gillibrand hasn’t been a moderate in several years though. She was originally elected as one, but in 2018, she had the most progressive record in the Senate (yes, very slightly ahead of Sanders). In the last five years, when you rank senators by how progressive their records are, she’s only been outside the top ten

Sometimes I’ve wondered if, for some of them, it’s less about Franken than it is a chance to take a shot at a moderate like Gillibrand.

Agree 100%!! As much as I love Schitt’s Creek, it’s hilarious, in no way does it match up against Fleabag, which has so much depth and intensity and changes the way you see things.

You think Billy Porter and Jodie Comer were mediocre? And Jharrel Jerome? GoT winning best drama no withstanding, I thought Emmy voters were surprisingly bold this year. Now lets just get Billy Porter is Oscar so he can officially become an EGOT.

The second season of Fleabag was maybe the most perfect six episodes of anything I’ve ever watched. The only thing that seemed like an obvious misstep (confession booth makeout) ended up being the catalyst for one of the realest and most heartbreaking finales of the year. PWB is undeniable. Also cast Andrew Scott in

Pleased as punch Fleabag won BIG. I love PWB to death. Also, Hot Priest. They should have gotten a 5th award as well, for Olivia Colman.

So happy Fleabag won!
