CEO pay is clearly already tied to real world results. I mean, Marissa Mayer paid $1.1 billion for Tumblr when she ran Yahoo. And Yahoo’s new overlord/rescuer just sold Tumblr for the hefty price of...checks notes...$3 million, so Mayer clearly earned her hundreds of millions of compensation and buyout.  Wait, what?

Typical librul thinking. Even though wages have not grown in 40 years, people adapted by having both parents work. The obvious next step is to eliminate child labor laws.

Oddly, Ford was successful in the early years mainly because he understood that he needed to pay workers enough so they could afford to buy the product they were building. As a result, we got a middle class in the USA.

Neutral: Stop judging executives so harshly on quarterly results. Start looking at annual and longer performance windows instead, then adjusting their compensation accordingly — including holdbacks for certain long-term goals.

Im growing tired of wrenching on cars, so this car is certainly not for me. But it's a NP for for ten-years-ago me. I think this is a great budget car for a young enthusiast np

You might want to click on the Craigslist for this one. It goes into great detail and obviously written by someone who knows vintage cars. There’s a LOT of extra items included with this old Alfa.

NP!
Let us be honest. If you’re buying this to drive as a daily, you’re an idiot. On the other hand, you’re the kind of person who likes tinkering in the garage, and enjoys a breakdown because it’s an excuse to do ... a lot of that... then this is a dream.

Came for Mrs Robinson reference, leaving satisfied.

THIS is where you prove your Jalop cred. Reasonable price for an interesting/amusing relic with relatively minor (for an Alfa) issues to deal with.

Me: “Ha! Look at those idiots in their luxury crossovers! Real Jalops know those things are for losers. No way I’d ever even think about owning one."

facts: if everyone is above traffic for sight lines no one is above traffic for better sight lines.

Europeans. Here in Belgium, diesels are more common than gas cars.

The left is doing every rain-dance they know to push this recession we’ve been warned of for the last 2 years that “is definitely just around the corner!” before the next election cycle. Its their only hope of regaining any legitimacy with the voters again. As someone on the sidelines, its interesting to see people

Not everyone wants to study computer science, my friend.

I wanted to star your post, but it was too close to approving of your travails.  Thanks for posting.

Apparently you haven’t been paying attention

The last recession was a real suckfest all around. Layoffs, foreclosures, general despair everywhere you looked. But at least it taught me the value of saving for a rainy day.

The air intake goes right through the insulation. If you look closely you can seep a pipe going through and apparently into the firewall. If I had to guess I would say it’s plumbed to something well above the waterline to protect it against inhaling spray.

You’re kidding, right?

If I had that much cash lying around, I would probably buy literally anything else. CP
