I don’t think it’s a jerry-rig. It’s probably wired like that from the factory- ie. the fan will kick on sooner when the AC is on. But somehow the ‘normal mode’ quit working, and the only thing still working is the ‘AC on’ mode.

There’s that $420 number again, Elon just won’t give it a rest...

I don’t necessarily agree that Tesla should be the beneficiary of emissions credits, but the panicked shrill Appleton is both disingenuous and bad at math.

I was all in until...

If you want a Jeep, buy a Jeep. Don’t try to make an off-roader out of this over-tired (see what I did there) old Synchro.  The tow hooks on the front are a good idea.  The new owner is going to need them.  CP

Having made the mistake of trying to buy from NWMS, yes.  I had to block their numbers.  Plural.

ArmorAll causes oversteer too. My wife thought she’d be nice and ArmorAll my tires. I hate the stuff becasue I think it looks tacky. I was going around one of my regular hooning corners on my commute, and suddenly I’m countersteering like a World of Outlaws driver. The tire had heeled over just enough that I was

Plus getting five fully-limbed adults in a 1996 Ford Ranger extended cab is akin to a loaded up clown car. I absolutely will not complain about the back seat of the new Ranger after riding in that godforsaken jump seat from the previous gen.

Your gf must have a rather large garage.

If your gf thinks a Ranger is too tiny, one has to wonder about her size expectations...

Aren’t updated safety standards just as much to blame for the growth of trucks like the Ranger/Colorado(S10)/Taco just as much as Big Richard waving over load capacities? I mean, yeah, they’re bigger but front impacts are better and I like that a lot better.

American trucks have gotten to damn big.

That’s what I could find in my area...

I really think there’s a sweet spot for mid-size work trucks that are electrified. Most (not all) are essentially runabouts, picking up and delivering materials and/or people. Most sit good chunks of the day. There’s definitely a need for electricity on-site (where 110 isn’t available), and a charged vehicle is an

“American trucks have gotten to damn big.”

Seriously? I’ve got two so that’s like almost half a million. Woohoo, I’m rich!

AirPnPee, the new kidney sharing service, has really driven down prices.

1) shady dealership specializing in “lifted diesel trucks”...why is this car there?

Wait, a kidney is only worth $40k now?Millennials ARE ruining everything! /s
