Love the lead-in to the paragraph on the pic:
When you come from Canada, you grow up expecting the worst from life.

Just get an i3, then you can save on gas and still look like a tremendous douchebag. It really is the best of both worlds.

You can rip on the Prius design all you like but it looks better than those frowny face angrygrilles that are plaguing Wranglers right now

To me, NP all day. The issue is that it is such a practical vehicle and it’s rugged enough to be on NYC streets 24/7 for 400k miles. For the right person, it’s perfect. Look beyond taxi (which is an obvious usage) and see what else you have.

For $1K less, you can get this 1 year newer Ford Transit Connect in a much less obnoxious color, with more HP, and a conventional automatic transmission.

Typically people in bands don’t have the coin for this unless they’re accountants who gig as a hobby simply as a means to stay away from their family.

“Used Privately — Never as a Taxi!!!”

At least it doesn’t have a checkered past. But I think the price is uber high and can’t seem to lyft my mouse to Np so I will cp it.

Reading comprehension... Fail.

As an immigrant, myself, allow me to explain some of the terms Donald throws around:

the US spends about 135 BILLION a year on illegal immigration. We need to fix this problem. Not sure why people aren’t against fixing our immigration problems.

Assuming it checks out in person, this would seem to be the sort of one of these you want. Cherished, longer ownership, reams of paperwork. The interior is perfect, and that is EXPENSIVE to put right on one of these. The mechanicals really aren’t that big a deal. And the price is realistic. The color and non-factory

This is a great point. Even with my X, I can hit the internet and find an entire cohort that’s had, and resolved, whatever problem I’m having. And to that point, later part revisions to fix problems invariably supersede old part numbers and make the cars that much better.

Her father, whom you might remember from this story, presently maintains a 1950 XK-120, 1966 XKE, and 2003 XJ8 as part of his collection.

My daily’s a 2003 X-Type (I know, boo hiss Ford... whatever. It’s AWD and has a stick.

The thing is,25 years ago, you’d kill to ride either one...

The question was not whether or not a Jag is economically sensible. If you’re in the market for a Jag, this is a nicely sorted, well cared for example with a reasonable price. It’s like buying a boat; you know what you’re getting into and should have a budget to match.

We’re back to the untitled poll guessing game. Which is actually appropriate for this car, since it sits right on the NP/CP line for me.

Jaguars and Tawny Kitaen: better to short term lease both and let the next guy deal with the nightmare of a long term relationship.

Anyone else have a broken poll?
