Nope, it’s because China has an authoritarian government and hos no concept of free speech or individual liberties.  That gives the government much, much more freedom to do what they want.

I wish I could give you more stars. I remember talking to people from both extremes of the political spectrum the day of the election and all of us talked about holding our noses and voting for someone we couldn’t stand. I’ve never seen both parties pick the worse possible candidate before.
