Maybe I’m crazy, but I don’t totally get the hate regarding their decision to stop building sedans. It’s pretty clear that demand is still shrinking, they make a ton of different crossovers that are more popular than ever, and their profit margins on a $15,000 Fiesta are tiny.

I’m not saying I’m a fan of the decision,

I give the owner credit for doing a decent job on the swapping, with the exception of the flares. Why put all that time and money into it then slap on something from Pep Boys?

+1 and all the stars to everyone for the Joe Walsh references.

all your monies are belong to us

I say that about SCTV all the time. So superior to every other sketch comedy show, yet nothing more than an ancient memory now.

Going a little fast there, buddy. Where’s the fire? *Points back at police officer’s car.

...said the bank intended to repay all customers who were hurt.

The tow hook being installed is a sign too

Oh look! A battery held on by zip ties and dreams.

I’m going to call BS on the mileage. Some of the wear seen in the pics on their site indicates WAY more than 26k. Plus they purposely gamed the eBay listing by entering no VIN# and leaving it as a comment. They did this so the normal VIN checks eBay shows would not appear. This thing has red flags all over it.

would not a battery nerd know how to spell nickel?

Unions Corrupt? Sky is blue.

UAW is the greatest argument against unionization.

It was just on BaT, and was RNM at $38k. And frankly I think $38k was ALL the money for this example, I have this pegged as at best a $30k car. Just recently this seller was asking $55k...give me some of what they are smoking. Bottom line, they are pricing this car ahead of the market, unless they got in over their

Crack Pipe of the highest order. According to cars.com, you could have not one, but two Audi TT-RS’s for the price of this one overpriced Quattro.

Back in 1987, I was looking at a few early 80's Quattro’s that were dirt cheap and I couldn’t figure out why. My brother who actually worked as a service tech for a Porsche/Audi dealer, told me it was cheap because it was a unreliable money pit nightmare and he’d refuse to work on it for me if I got it.

I misread the headline and almost voted NP. Then I saw the extra 9 that I missed on the first go-round. This is Rob Ford CP.

eventually slapping Ford emblems on the effected models when they came in for service

Should have made it a three on the tree.

I’m trying to mentally picture the linkages to get to that dashboard’s arcade cabinet control stick shown above to mate to the transmission, and all I can come up with is
