You're right. Just because you can't disprove those things doesn't mean their worthy of belief. Good thing that's not how people decide to believe in things, then, huh? In truth, the same is true of a lot of things- philosophy and theology have that in common, where they can be perfectly worked out within themselves,

You can find the series mentioned by @avclub-f3dcf2b24cdcda5f5a9e51cce73cbeff:disqus on Marvel Unlimited though. I liked it, it was a lot of fun. (also, I realized after the fact that none of the multiple (!) female main characters were love interests of the male characters.) I also like what I've read so far of the

Yup. I liked it. Fun and breezy, ended with a good hook.

So good cop is the avatar?

I actually liked Fear Itself (which surprised me, considering all the bad stuff I'd heard about it), but with the caveat of I liked it as it was in the Thor/Loki/Asgard-related titles, everything else seemed kind of pointless and random.

It kind of reminds me of Raising Hope, especially in the early episodes, where'd be so broad and typical sitcom-y, but then it'd hit these beats (usually towards the end) that elevated it and changed the meaning of what you'd seen.

You're just going to have to try sharing harder, dammit!

I think maybe there should be a moratorium on comparing anything to a lynch mob (mentality or otherwise) unless there's actual danger of people getting dragged out into the street and hanged because of their race. Mob mentality gets the same idea across without further watering down atrocities.

But I mean, that is kind of being behind as well. In the 90s, that kind of thing was the raving paranoia, the thing that might be lurking. Then 9/11 happened and no one had the heart for cynical paranoid fantasies. Then all the shit after 9/11 happened, and it turned out all the cynical paranoid fantasies came true,

Well, thank you for the vote of confidence. But I don't think settling is really a risk. Maybe the opposite really. I just look back over my life and see a pattern of independence and very few relationships and never falling in love and it's a lot easier to imagine that pattern continuing than suddenly changing.

Take their side? Take their side? Like they did in steubenville? How about Maryville, where they burned the victim's house down when she didn't drop the charges? How about what happened to Rehtaeh Parsons? How about the reporting around the gang rape of a goddamn eleven year old girl by 20 men that focused on how

I actually don't think it's that hard. We're pretty good at picking up when someone is trying to get out of an invitation, why the sudden blindness when it comes to whether or not someone wants sex? Or barring that, just little check ins? There's nothing obsequious about that. Hot Italian Boy was like, "you're sexy, I

My experience says otherwise. I think this is one area where essentialism is even more bullshit than normal.

Financial domination is one of those things where I start calling bullshit on the " Safe Sane & Consensual" line that the BDSM community is always pushing. When you're putting your family out on the street because of a kink, you have a problem, a mental problem, and need help, same as if you had an addiction. Your

Argh, that fucking term. You know what's awkward? Living with your younger sister, and hearing her talk to her dom boyfriend on skype (their conversation being safe for work in every other way) and her whispering sweet nothings to him, calling him daddy. URGHIHIHIAHGIAHGPI@PIHPIHAIG

(tangent: argh, DISQUS, it's not letting me login, goddamn disqus). Weed bores are the WORST when legalization comes up, they should never be allowed to speak on the subject ever. I've never tried pot, I don't intend to try it, but I supported proposition 19 or whatever it was to legalize it for a lot of different

If you've gotten close, maybe you've actually sealed the deal, so to speak. Unless you're solely defining sex as penetration, which is…well, kind of silly.

My mother asked my dad to marry her, way back in 1977.

After the economic crisis? I was just reading a thing about how the average age to meet the median income (and thus likely to be actually starting to make progress on a career) is 30 where it used to be 26. Personally, I'm 29 and I spent a number of years in my early 20s being broke and desperately trying to find a
