Might be better with new heads and a tweaked compression ratio, different cam profile, turbo sizing, redesigned headers etc could all optimize certain parameters in terms of throttle response and power curve.

That’s a rough situation. Getting home Sunday night knowing you won’t have a chance to properly clean out the car until next weekend is anxiety inducing.
