The media do this to child rape victims all the time. It’s rare to see an article about victims of child prostitution, for example, that doesn’t contain a line about the perp ‘paying for sex’ as opposed to paying to rape a child. Once you know this, you will notice that this is the norm for the way the media reports…

We’ve kind of appropriated flag-wearing in Australia in recent years, usually on ‘Australia Day’, usually by yob racists or clueless twits.
