I recently bought my first BMW - a 3 GT - and I feel like I’m partially to blame for being a part of BMW’s metastasizing product lineup, by purchasing it. But only partially, because I purchased it used.
I mean, I’ve paid that, but only to overpay so the loan is done sooner.
I specifically forbade the dealer from drilling the front plate holder into my new-from-the-factory Mustang when I got it in 2015. I literally said, “If there’s holes drilled in that bumper, I’m not taking delivery”. Granted, that was something of a bluff, but it worked!
I wish the interior on this were better and it was a little lower, then I would honestly have considered it. I got a BMW 330 GT instead.

Along I-280 in San Jose (the highway I live near) there’s a lot of trees and assorted vegetation. Glad to see the state keeping that up. Where I lived in Connecticut, along I-95, they’d wisely put the interstate in the middle of a broad right of way with lots of trees.
